Battle of the hebrews without glaring weak points but also without standout 'wow' bodyparts, possibly to blame for their inability to win the O. Taylor had more longevity and remained competitive even deep into Ronnie's reign. Cormier at his peak was probably better and had great showings like the '99 O and 2004 ASC where an anorexic Cutler robbed him.
Taylor especially doesn't get a lot of talk around here. So what do you think?
-
What year is the V.Taylor pic?
-
I just like Chris. He seems super cool in real life and fun to hang with. Plus he attracts hot chicks, partying with him is something I always wanted to do.
In his vids, he says "um" 10 thousand times but still see Chris as one of the all time greats.
Vince too is amazing.
Did I just respond to one of these played out "back in the day threads" ah shit, I just did...
-
Taylor has better symmetry. Cormier was bigger but sorry to say this just a little long waisted ;D
-
Both were great but I always thought Taylor had one helluva` build.
So Taylor IMO.
-
Chris
-
I prefer TAYLOR. His chest and delts and arms are spectacular and flow so well. His entire physique flows better as stated already.
-
Vince was actually my absolute fave BB (even though as a Brit I should have been rooting for Dorian...) his terminator routine was just amazing! (Such a change from the normal 'also sprach zarathustra' sh*t!)
Just a really nice frame...

Vince had a more classic shape than Chris, but then Chris had the more modern day mass with shape look. Vince thighs were a little light for the era in consideration of the judging criteria, Personally I would take Taylors build anyday over Chris, argument can also be made that Vince still trains looks good and healthy, Chris in retirement doesn't. I would also bet Vince took a hell of lot less than Chris did to look the way he did in comparison.

Vince Taylor.
-

Taylors arms are 'standout' as fuck, imo. Wow.

Cormier had a better chest and set of wheels

I believe Vince didn't start lifting seriously/bodybuilding until he was 28 years old. And he used light weights and was a "pumper".
-
Vince rocked an eye patch, nuff said...
-
Serge Nubret. ;D

By 1995, Taylor was a monster. Huge.

Yup, seeing them up close you can appreciate how good they actually were. I have a pic somewhere comparing biceps.
-
Taylor. With ease.
-
I'll take Taylor. His body just flowed better. Vince is killing young Coleman in that pic above.

That is a young Ronnie Coleman.
-
Cormier looked really good, but Vince looked better. Fantastic physique.
-
Taylor 3rd behind Lee Haney and Dorian even beating Dorian in one round.
Cormier 3rd behind Ronnie and Flex, should have beaten Flex. I would say Cormier '99 is the best of any version both showed.
-
Vince Taylor no question.
-
2 of the best physiques in bbing that were consistently robbed.
-
Vince talks about his early days of bodybuilding and training with John Brown in this interview on FloridaPhysique.com - http://www.floridaphysique.com/#!bodybuilding-legends---vince-taylor-par/c1kur

That is a young Ronnie Coleman.
Yep, he had hair - that didn't last long after he'd spoke to Flex, did it? ;)
-
Did Cormier have some sort of health scare at some point?
-
Vince by an eye patch and airplane luggage falling from the ceiling.
-

Well, Vince held the record at one time for the most wins. I think it was Flex, Levrone and Ronnie who eventually passed him. He had like 18-20 something wins.

wont those master wins tho
-
I'm sorry but that posing video of Vince in 95' beats a Levrone any day! JMO.. :o

Ronnie still has hair, check out his prep to the 07 Olympia, he chooses to shave it, the man has incredible hair genetics and baby making sperm
-
Close, but Cormier is better. I always thought Vince had weird quads.
Also, pretty sure Cormier would beat Vince in any back poses.
