But as you also said, pulling this kind of weight is AMAZING.
Anyone who's ever seriously trained the deadlift, and achieved strength required to hoist 500-plus pounds, knows damn well how freakish this feat truly is.
Having said this, a very large amount of this pull strength is drug-derived, so even more than a natural would be, he's risking quite serious injury. Those in-the-know know what I'm talking about.
(Ronnie's current health woes can largely be attributed to his performing for years WAY beyond his natural limitations/natural progressions.)

a heavier guy will probably have more muscle in his back and legs hence a bigger pull...... I just know from experience that gaining weight even if its sloppy will make your bench go up no matter what even if it's shit weight. DL not so much

there is no scientific explanation (that I am aware of) as to why being fat helps you lift more, but it would appear it does.
