Title: Anyone Do Feeder Workouts?
Post by: NickEdge779 on February 17, 2016, 04:00:15 PM
Ive been watching the Rich Piana series and was wondering if anyone has actually had success with feeder workouts before bed? I really need to bring up my biceps and want to buy a set of 10 lb dumbells and just do a shit load of reps before bed every night to get a massive pump.

Who cares if anyone else does it, do them and let us know the results.

You can get growth from over training.

The only thing Piana is feeding his arms is PMMA and that might be a better option for you?

I wouldn't advise it
You'll prob get elbow issues and shoulder issues possibly even slap tear from the bicep getting too tight

Why would you take advice from a guy whose arms are loaded with PMMA and you cannot see a pump in his arms?

Before Piana went the PMMA route, his arms for his size were terrible. They were lagging. Maybe he didn't have the genetics. And that is probably why he went the PMMA route. That being said, why would you take advice from a guy whose arms are loaded with PMMA and you cannot see a pump in his arms?

So you're saying feeder workouts do work?

I wouldn't know.

So you're going to try them then?

JK Parker, your take was spot on. I had someone who had me watch the clip and told me why Piana was so smart and I said if feeders work so well why are his arms full of oil?

This. The guy's a complete con man.  Mega doses of anabolic steroids, monthly visits to Mexico for cheap PMMA implants and 5,000 calories per day.  The end.

The only ridiculous workout that I've experimented with (years ago, mind you) where I actually saw noticeable gains, was squatting 3 times a week.   And I only tried that because a 90's Bodybuilder with awesome legs named JJ Marsh said in a Magazine that his legs didn't really start to take off until he started squatting 3x/week.

What the fuck is a "feeder" workout?
Must be something Rich came up with to sound "cool". So now some kid who used to tell his parents or girlfriend "I am going to workout before bed", will now say to them "I am doing a 'feeder' workout", which makes it sound very all cool.

so all those who do push-ups before bed were doing  "feeder workouts"?

Hell, so all those who do push-ups before bed were doing  "feeder workouts"?

Working out before bed sounds very unnatural

Yes it's bullshit.
Need to eat simple carbs after this and before sleep.
Doesn't make any sense.

My favourite ep was the one where he mentions the feeders have made his rear delts too big and you can see a huge zit like pin hump from where he's filled it with whatever the fuck in the same ep.

Never forget the magic word "LOGIC!" Has to be said loud and proud to make sure it's extra believable.

Advice from Rich Piana on how to bring up lagging body parts?

Is this fucking real life?

God fucking damnit.

Doing a set of laterals for one set of 30 - 25 reps 3 or 4 times a week did seem to give visible results in the delts, didn't get it from that oil filled turd, read an article how strength athletes often use the method for weak bodyparts

I have 3 sets of hex dumbbells I keep in my living room, occasionally at night the mood strikes and I do a 5-10 minute arm/shoulder/tricep and sometimes back workout.  Nothing fancy, basic stuff, high reps.  Occasionally throw in high rep sets of pushups to pump up my chest.  I don't plan to do them, I go by feel and mood, if I am still feeling high energy at the end of the day, why not.  My training is based on the philosophy, make hay while the sun shines, if you feel energetic then train some more, if you feel strong then lift heavy etc..

Sounds like a stupid trend

Imagine doing that for the rest of your life.

Seems to me like a fast tracks to shoulder issues, impingement, shortening and tightening of muscles of the shoulder girdle, rotator cuff issues etc etc. not one bit of what Piano says is based on anything other than his home made brand of bro science. Why the fuck would you continuously just do lateral raises and bent over rear laterals? How often does one actually do these movements throughout the day? Imagine all the inflammation and shit this would cause? It's moronic.
Ps I've watched him do his 3x15 second vacuums. He only holds for 10 seconds. Clear gimmick.

I read the comments on Rich's IG account

the only people who do "feeders" are those 18 year old rubes who also pay for those "5% gallons" he sells

if you don't know "the 5% gallon" is LITERALLY a empty water gallon with a big "5%" sticker on it

rich sells those

Why 5%? By my math, I am in the top 0.001% based on looks, muscle, height, hair, career and money. I laugh at the broke-ass muscled manlets in Rich's posse

Why 5%?

The 5% is the amount of real muscle.

I have a basement with db's 15-60's and a machine with a stack that does it all..if I want I do a 'pump'day just go set to set some different movements,1/2 and keeps things good around main gym workouts..

This^^^Piano is probably on so many oxy's a day that he can barely feel any pain. He's not made for this earth very long...
