A new CNN national poll shows that Donald Trump is pulling away in the national Republican presidential nomination with a stunning 49 percent support.
That’s 33 points above Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) who is in second place with 16 percent. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is in a close third with 15 percent.
Ben Carson only has 10 percent while John Kasich has six percent.
Trump was at 24 percent in September before his national polling numbers began to rise substantially.
The polling results show that as more Republicans get out of the race, more Republicans are leaning toward Trump for president.
Republicans who do not support Trump however, appeared torn whether they would support him if he eventually won the nomination.
According to the poll, 52 percent of Republicans said they would likely support Trump if he won — 48 percent indicated that they were unlikely to support him, including 35 percent who said they would “definitely not support” the controversial billionaire.
When asked to choose which candidate was the most honest and trustworthy, 35 percent of Republican voters chose Trump, 22 percent chose Ben Carson, followed by Cruz at 14 percent and Rubio at 13 percent. Kasich only got 9 percent.
The polling result is of 306 registered Republican voters and 121 voters who lean Republican.

What incentive do they have to pump up Trump, though? I understand what you're saying, and I do wonder, but at the same time they'll use photos of him which look absolutely maniacal. So what's the whole story of what they're doing? Is it a strategy to get Hillary in?

Buzzfeed has his top 25 quotes about women while on Howard Stern....you can imagine the shit he's said. The BBC did a doco about him in the 90's. He came on to the reporter. NBC bought that doco and are holding it until after the nomination. They're getting ready to fry him and the Repubs in the process.

This may very well be the craziest election in our lifetime.
Donald Trump is an absolute maniac at times but the mainstream media has really been exposed over the past few years through social media, alternative media, youtube, etc etc. It is basically looked upon as just a vile, disgusting creature.
A sizable number of Trump supporters, even some who traditionally lean left, are willing to overlook all his flaws and crazy remarks because of their intense hatred for PC and the media.

The Dems have already cut ads with people he used the domain thing against. They gotta be careful about the women thing but eminent domain is an easy attack angle. They're ready and that's why a lot of repubs are very worried. Not to mention the fact that the guy has zero plan for anything.

The MSM is overwhelmingly liberal and have an unquestionable liberal bias. They have every incentive to prop up a candidate like Trump during the primaries, because he will lose in November. The only person on the GOP side people might hate more than Hillary.

She's a Democrat. Her policy positions are liberal. Barring some unlikely indictment that removes her from contention, she is going to be the Democrat nominee. That makes her the MSM favorite. That helps explain why she has been skating through the primaries. And it helps explain why the MSM wants Trump, because he is a disaster for the GOP.
