Title: Going negative on Trump for Super Tuesday
Post by: SOMEPARTS on March 01, 2016, 08:56:41 PM
Well, it didn't work. Teflon Don.

The more they went negative the better it got for Trump I think. They have only themselves to blame. Most of them are horribly ineffective and seem unable to find any power outside of their little circle. If they wanted to win this nomination with somebody that had been in office for the last several years then they should have at least put up some loyal opposition. The only one that did was Cruz and they distanced themselves from him. At least he was smart enough to work the angle. They hated Reagan when he started gaining in the polls as well.

Trump has the "fuck it, let's try him" vote and you can't lobby or pay for that.

from minute #1, Top republicans (and myself) said that trump was a dem plant, only in the race to give it to hilary and wreck lots of top republicans.

He'll skid across the nomination finish line, hilary will win 40 states in the general election, and she'll have a clear mandate to run the nation as she wishes.  Oh, then she'll hire Trump Industries to build a whole lotta shit.

I said this 9 months ago - and so far, it's completely accurate.  Repubs like rand, rubio, walker, and jeb were looking awesome until trump flung poop on them for months nonstop.

THE PROBLEM IS - repubs spent the last 9 months saying "oh, i like some of his ideas" and ignoring any possibility trump was just trolling.  he gained power and now is clearly going to be the republican nominee.  They decided this week to shit on him - too little, too late.

I'm not a believer in the process anyway. If that is what happens then that is what everybody deserves for being sold the same "choice" and thinking it will be different. Two sides of the same coin.

If there actually is a chance that Trump wants to unravel much of what has been done in the last 30-40 years that has hurt the country then great. If not - the fleecing and de-evolution of the middle class into an underclass will continue as scheduled. Anybody who has not gotten this figured out yet is frankly an idiot.
