and what's the longest you can go without training a muscle group before de-compensation occurs? ie. a loss is size/strength
i start to lose size/strength after about 3 weeks

I am sure you started a similar thread ? I think anything less than training a muscle group "Directly" every 5 Days is a waste of time. However there are many factors such as volume, intensity..overlap....et c..

i think i asked about muscle de-comp before
and on a side note, i still find that push/pull/legs is ideal, as i've tried chest/back/legs/delts/arms but push/pull/legs pwned it
just found this link, and the things it says about rest periods btw workouts seems to be on point

I train abs less than once a week
maybe a couple of times a month
so far, no loss of size or strength

Chest, back, shoulders and legs once a week. Arms twice a week briefly abs and calves 3-4 days week.
