If I get suckered into going to the Olympia again then I want to see Cedric win it. To me he's exactly what bodybuilding should be and he's got a funny personality. Compton has one flaw, but it's a big one: He's got the lats of a middleweight, and it's especially glaring in front poses. He really needs to work on those lats.

I don't know. Maybe it's just a throw back of the current trend where the sex symbols are more like pretty boys than the guys who were more traditionally handsome than pretty and that actually had hair on their chest like Burt Reynolds, Tom Selleck, Robert Redford.
But that doesn't explain the judges. Maybe he's the token non-homo in the bunch. Throw a bit of ugly up there to mix things up and keep it diverse friendly. I mean, as long as he's in condition -- and he always is.

personally i thought kai looked good for what his frame allows him to look, yeah midsection a little wide in the oblique are, but lower back seamed pretty dried out and had a nice xmas tree. Arms looked good to, I dont really see the synthol that a few of you claim to see.

Dennis Wolf comes to mind. Far from the ideal but closer to it than Kai by a great deal. It may be that Wolf is physically spent. The drug protocols these people endure take their toll.
There may be more but near as I can tell there is no Zane or Paris on the horizon, let alone an Arnold, Nubret or Reeves. I have standards that are based upon personal aesthetics versus those of a schmoe which seem to be based entirely on their scrotum-centric fantasies.
If others think differently, that is their choice.

Nope. I think that's more along the lines of what Bay thinks is good. Except the thong. I believe he too, despises butt-floss in bodybuilding.

Dennis Wolf comes to mind. Far from the ideal but closer to it than Kai by a great deal. It may be that Wolf is physically spent. The drug protocols these people endure take their toll.
There may be more but near as I can tell there is no Zane or Paris on the horizon, let alone an Arnold, Nubret or Reeves. I have standards that are based upon personal aesthetics versus those of a schmoe which seem to be based entirely on their scrotum-centric fantasies.
If others think differently, that is their choice.
That's who I had in mind. Not just his physique but the way he carries and presents himself. When he stands relax he doesn't over do the arms out flared lat pose which to me just flattens out the delts. Also, I like his posing. There's a certain, I don't know, dignity and class to his presentation. None of this stripper, pop and lock rap nonsense.
Too bad about his calves. I mean, you can get by with weak calves these days but he has like an "anti-calf". Not just no development but an "anti-development". His calves, especially his left calf, has actually atrophied over years. All those drugs and training just to get worse.
