They love him now because they held back their smear campaign until he gets the nomination. Once that happens it's going to be a shit storm. MSNBC is going to bash and smear Trump 24 hours a day until the election is over. He's a racist, a misogynist, a crook, etc.

He is those things. Well, to be honest, I don't actually think Trump is a racist. What I think though, is that he's a huge liar and is basically what he always has been... A real estate sales person.
He is simply doing whatever he thinks it takes to win. Right now, winning the right means saying vile nasty disgusting things.
Now, here's my real question. Does he continue this through the General election? Does he start "adapting" his stances to get the other side? If he continues down this path, he loses. He loses big.
If he starts "flip flopping", then he loses the people he's courted for the past year.

This. Trump, god forbid he gets elected would be way more of a centrist than anyone from the GOP. I don't believe that he believes 90% of the shit he's been saying. Cruz is fucking crazy. Too many of them fuckers are. They might very well bring about "end times" if you get a President Cruz with full control of the House and Senate.

I'd love to see Cruz win so we have a chance to un-fuck this country a little bit and reverse all the victim worshiping and victim subsidizing we've been doing. It would be refreshing to have someone in there that gives a shit about the constitution and the rule of law. People aren't smart enough to vote for him though.
