IMO Levrone's best look ever.
And Ronnie was coming up fast and was inhuman by this point.
Ronnie won, but what do you think?
-
.

The backdouble biceps shot tells the story and that's where Ronnie owns Levrone. Do you have any back double biceps shots?

Yeah Ronnie wins that one.
Here are more pics.

I was there it was very close could have gone either way. Although this is the contest where Ronnie started figuring it out condition wise, especially when Ronnie turned around.
-
Remember that youtube video where Levrone admitted that he gave Ronnie all that Vodka on the 1997 Euro Grand Prix?
And Ronnie got shredde
-
The angle works in Levrone's favor in those pictures . You still can see Ronnie was a better bodybuilder.

I thought I remember Ronnie talking about that, saying drink a glass of half vodka and half coffee to work as a diuretic.

Imo, Kevin always looked best at 250+ in competition.
-
Ronnie has more roundness, hardness and deeper lines
-
Levrone does look sick in the bald head days. but shit that back double bicep pose unfortunately shows how much more dominant Ronnie was. Thats the key pose in the shows.
-
kevin's lack of biceps peak really kills the look of his arms in that back double bi.
around this time was when Ronnie really started to get great quads.

Ronnie had great quads by 1996

I was there too. It was close but I had Ronnie winning it. Going into the show, on paper, it was Kevin's to win (he'd won a few years earlier in his second pro show). The biggest shock was when Ronnie went on to win the Olympia less than five months later, beating favorites Flex Wheeler and Nasser El Sonbatay.

Was that the last year Kevin had wheels?
-
ronnie had bit better conditioning, better seperation in legs, and from the back was way better
-
Levrones holding a bit of water..................o therwise, who knows?

I find that to be the case with most of those muscletime photos.

Brian Buchanan getting 9th is the real shocker.
-
Kev had a weak back, esp thickness wise
-
Was that the last year Kevin had wheels?
Believe his legs held on for another year or so.
