My good friend who couldn't be more to the right than she is, said awhile back that if it comes down to Hilary or Trump, she is voting for Hilary. My suspicion is that she's not alone.

You are underestimating the HATE Republicans have for Hillary. She is enemy number one and has been for years. Remember, Romney almost defeated Obama in 2012. They will come out in droves against Hillary and rightfully so.

TA, I tend to agree with you. I think a quiet majority will vote Trump into office. However, I would prefer Cruz or Kasich. Regardless, Hillary is a criminal. Jeb has the infrastructure in place, he has the family, his family does know how to win ( HW bush only lost re-election due to perot taking almost 20%).
I can bet against hilary. She will cheat, but I can see her losing. Jeb? NO WAY can I bet against a Bush in a 1-on-1 election. Throughout history, Bushes win. Jeb would defeat Hilary and win the presidency and likely win a 2nd term too.

Look at the numbers of people who vote in primaries? You think that's indicative of who the majority of people will vote for? If that's the case, then Hillary is going to wipe the floor with everyone.
She's the ONLY candidate who in state after state has had more than 50% of the vote on either side. Bernie got a couple here and there, but really, Hillary then must be the only person who can win period, because she's getting percentages of primary voters more than anyone.

If being a woman were enough, Hillary would have beaten Obama for the nomination. It was Hillary's inability to stay out of the public eye that led to Obama being president. She couldn't be patient for one year until the Ill seat that was become vacant.

NY, NJ , Conn and most likely Pen will be his. Those are a boatload of delegates he's going to take. Trump will most likely take Cali as well. Cruz might squeak out Arizona. NM and Dakotas. The key for trump is winning it outright. Even if he heads into the summer convention 1 short with 1,236 the republicans are going to fuck him over. There's a huge movement in the party to stop him. The big money donors are all lined up. They're worried to death about Trump's anti trade stance. They all have billions invested in Chinese factories and don't want Trump to fuck it up for them.

Trump is a highly educated business man. He may come off as an ass but he's just catering to the retards in the crowd. Trump has wined and dined lots of senior politicians in his life. He's made numerous deals with them securing his business. The President is just the mouth piece in the end. His cabinet will be key in the decisions that end up being made. Did you really think Bush came up with policies on his own? I would bet Bush wasn't in the negotiating rooms half the time and just signed what he was told to sign.

If Trump is able to accomplish one thing that isn't blatantly racist, anti-American, against the taxpayers, or costs Americans their lives in battle, then he will have done more than Obama.

Usualy what comes next is chaos and incompetent actions, etc... Maybe Trump would be an exception, but given a history of that kind of bussinessman entering the politics, it's not very likely. Why do you guys continue to talk about hatred for Hillary? Apparently a lot of people like her and she is the front runner to win it all. Maybe the republicans can't stand her but she is beloved in her party.

We've had 16 straight years of a President that had little experience before being elected. Over the last 16 years the wage gap is higher than it's ever been. Real estate is unaffordable in parts of this country, gas has more than doubled in price. food is super expensive and we're in a bunch of endless wars. So yes, you're right, it will be more of the same with Trump. As much as I can't stand Hillary she is probably the best option to clean up a lot of the mess.
I don't like Hillary at all either (that's why I find this "choice" so poor), but she's a lot "safer" option imho.

I think the anti-Obama crowd were mostly just older white men who would constantly moan about him but wouldn't really go beyond that (ie Coach).
As far as I recall, there wasn't people attempting to physically attack Obama during his speeches, there wasn't large counter protests during his visits, there wasn't people getting into fights with demonstrators during his rallies.
Trump is fairly unique in that regards.

I actually agree. Said months ago that I'll believe it when I see it that a republican/third party beats a democrat. People got all excited last election about Romney and despite beating Obama on a lot of debates he lost rather easily. It's a testament to the party's overall power that she is even allowed in the race let alone leading convincingly.
I would vote for a democrat if they aligned with what I thought was best but most won't switch party lines no matter what out of laziness most likely.
The "good" thing is is that maybe this election is showing that a lot of people are fed up. Hopefully a lot in both parties feel that way. Republicans get voted in and do nothing to stop the downslide of our nation either. At this point each party is as much to blame as the other. A person can dream but like you (and I agree) I still would place money on Hillary to win if I had to.
Stupid conservatives are talking of not voting/write ins if Trump is the one. I would rather hope that Trump can/is a difference maker and vote for him then essentially give up a vote to Hillary when we all know exactly what we are getting with her.
If neither trump or Cruz get nomination they should align together or even if one does get it.

After Bush's first term a bunch of Jewish billionaires searched for a short list of potential candidates they'd back and groom for the next election. Obama was one. John Kerry got killed by Bush but on that same election night the young deep voiced Obama stood on stage and electrified the crowd. This group of Jews found their man. For 4 years the prepped everything to get him ready to be the next president. He was groomed and coached from day 1. he had one agenda that he fulfilled. In 8 years the Rich got richer and the poor became poorer.

I have hard time imaging Trump as a president. He proably doesn't really know what is he going to do in a case of being elected either. It will either be a disaster or.... I can't think much good. Things going this way, he may pull off the Kennedy during one of these public speeches, many rich people are not happy about him, takes only one precise shot.

It's not like there's much to choose from on the GOP end. have a look at their proposals, they are all extremists. some just have slightly better hair and manners. That said I do understand the danger. Politics has been going in that direction for decades though. Ronald Reagan is rolling in his grave right now.
