Title: The Frog is sold out!
Post by: da_vinci on March 24, 2016, 05:52:17 AM
Now what have any of you dreamed up, orchestrated a design, manufactury, marketing and made it to a production?

The Frong is ridiculous, but this guy will be rollin in a Bentley soon, take some lessons about agressive marketing and selling yourself in this digital world.

I couldn't be more proud right now. The Frog has been the big talk around the 2016 @IHRSA Trade Show convention floor as the most fun and innovative piece of equipment. The fact that we've sold out of our show inventory and are only doing big orders for gym franchises around the world has me just blown away! ‪#‎LivingMyDream‬

Good marketing then.

A good marketer could sell sand to the arabs and snow to the eskimoes.

If Madoff got away with billions I don't see why your average lying scumbag can't get away with a few million.

Plenty of people desperate enough out there. You've just got to give up what little moral fiber you were holding onto.

Not sure about these days but back in my day , young people were really gullible (let's say 15-18 years old in the 80s or 90s), so it would be enough with having a muscular fellow marketing some powder, and people would buy it.

Same thing with Mike O'Hearn marketing The Frog.

Some people really believe he got that physique from using The Frog.

I really doubt its 15 year olds buying a 2k piece of equipment. Probably adults and gym owners.

We have this at my gym.

I have used this piece of equipment and seen moderate improvements in my 40 yd dash, plank times, and overall conditioning.

Don't knock it.  Most getbiggers couldn't last 20 seconds on it, despite all their brutal conditioning doing tricep kick backs, hack squats, and leg extensions.

Great Review Grape.

It wouldn't be sold as much if Richard Simmons was marketing it.

Just because something is hard to do doesn't make it worth doing. Plank time? Wtf is that?

If you're not trolling, I am not too sure you can make this assumption. Seems strange that you would start using the Frog and see improvements, as if the frog was doing something magically different than what you were doing previously. I mean, there is nothing unique about it that would contribute to your gains that you could not achieve with other exercises.

The time you can hold a plank.  Indicator or core strength / conditioning.

Hater.

O'hearn got this one right.

I workout at home and would never spend 2k on something as stupid as this thing.

So they made 5 prototypes that they sold and are now "sold out".  Big Deal.

Marketing 101.

But in all seriousness I'm sure the initial production consisted of 5-10 million units.

Can you idiots read?

The fact that we've sold out of our show inventory

They sold out the inventory for that one single expo, not their entire production ::) How much of that shit-pieces had they carried to that Expo, probably 3-5 ::)

i have been to few expos , i have never seen anyone break out a wallet or credit card to buy anything, if it ain't free people are not interested in it .

that is why i always see Lou with this thumb up his ass and a mile pile high of glossy 8x10 photos of the hulk laying next to him

Bullshit.  That cargo van would be packed with Toupees so he'd maybe have room for 2 or 3 Frogs.

I'm sure as few as possible were produced. Maybe a couple hundred total have been made. Chances are they are being built upon order.

What happened to them? It's like DLB came on the scene and they got bounced. Speaking of which, is she still the hot new thing?
