Dude is self destructing left-and-right :o

When you have to blow into a device to start your car, you may want to rethink ever revving your engine or even driving around in a sports car...
-
The cop was being a tard himself. Why is your car so loud? Wtf? Lol
-
Jones always has some drama when he drives
-

ikr typical jealous pig. I think the cop was giving him shit just because he wanted to
-

He seemed drunk or high.
-
don't know what he did but, seems like the illuminati is out to ruin Jones
-
looser pig who's obviously on a power trip with his small dick with a big mouth to. ,,, honestly these cops are why youth and our future kids no matter there race are in trouble I hope they take away these cops power and put them in check that cop should swallow 37 bags of dicks

37 bags, are you intentionally keeping it 1 less than your moms?
-
Well shit. I didn't know you could talk all of that trash to a cop and get away with it!
-
The sort of idiot that makes people dislike the cops. Obviously trying to reach his ticket quota for the month as Jon said.
-
What a moron..
He is on probation...
The cop kept cool.. shit other cops would of called for back up..
And Jones would of been on the floor getting a beat down before being taken to jail.. maybe that is why he asked if the camera was on.
He knows if it was off.. He would get the shit / crap kicked of him...
Bones Jones had a meltdown... ;D
-
Cop was a total dick but in his defense, He saw a Hebrew driving a decent car and probably thought he was an astronaught or physicist. Then we he discovered he was a sport figure and was caught off guard.
-
Don't forget this guys. Jones is crackhead mess. If he had half a brain he would move the fuck out of NM. Cops believe he's going to kill someone someday behind the wheel. You could tell Jones was high as fuck in the recent traffic stop.
-
Chandler Jones. Jon Jones brother who plays for the New England Patriots.
-
It runs in the family...
I hope he doesn't do something more stupid and gets suspended by the ufc again.
Cormier is going to have a field day with this one.. ;D
Bones Jones needs to grow up...
What a waste of talent....
-
Chandler Jones. Jon Jones brother who plays for the New England Patriots.
He doesn't play for the patriots anymore ;D
-
Jon should have taken it easy on that guy and played cool.
Jon makes way more money than that cop will ever see in his lifetime and can whoop the cops ass at will.
I do appreciate that the cop had a cam attached to his person, that way we can see things like this go down (good for the cops and for the civilians).
On a personal level, Jon might suck as a person, but as a fighter, he is pretty amazing.

still no evidence that jon was actually speed racing, drag racing, driving over speed limit. The cop stopped him becuse his car was loud. I would want to kill that cop if I was jon

Oh, I agree with you (except for wanting to kill the cop). It will be up to that judge to decide and I think Jon will get off with no issues from this.

lets take an innocent man in court and play a game called innocent or not and see what happends :D
Jon spoke about rage and anger being his problems in the past, but I'm sure this type of shit would enrage gandhi even
-
That cop was a piece of shit. He wrote Jon five different tickets. He should of gave him a warning. I'm usually pro cop but this guys a dork.

That was very excessive.
I guess the cop realized that he would never have Jon's fame, money, car, fighting ability, height or cock length and went hardcore on the tickets (probably adding up to $500).

Maybe the brew should start driving normally??

I'm not the biggest fan of most Hebrews but good for Jon giving it back to that dick.

The dash cam must of recorded something for the cop to have probable cause to stop him.. one way or another .. He is on probation..
This his 3rd traffic violation.. so the judge won't go easy on him regardless...
-
I used to really like Jones...But I'm starting to think he's just another .igger.

jon was pretty convinced the cop was full of shit. I want to see the evidence first. Like really see some video material of jon speeding off from the lights as if he was drag racing, still no video of that. I'm with jon on this one until proven otherwise.
-

WTF?
-
The officer was calm and professional. He would not have issued those tickets without just cause/proof. Could he have issued "warnings", etc.? Sure. But considering Jon's history, the officer was wise to force the issue to court.
On a side note, I chuckle at those who make immature and presumptuous notions about how Jones could "whoop" the cop's ass, at will. Just because Jon is a UFC champion does NOT mean he is some street hero who is a sure bet in a real-life altercation. That officer might just be a tough SOB with miles of experience dealing with thugs and street warriors on their own turf.
I swear some here have very little experience in actual fighting.
Being well versed in formal fight training in schools does not automatically equate to absolute success when it matters.

People get stopped all the time for loud cars, motorcycles, stereos.

::)
That cop was probably the guy who got picked last in gym class. That's why he is such a dick head. "Why is your car so loud"
-
What likely happened...maybe not.. but likely..
Jones was at a light. As he said, he was just showing off to his fans.. revved the engine and when the light turned green he punched it. There probably was a Cadillac next to him and he likely was racing it. Not that uncommon. Cop stopped him, irritated because idiots like this driver put peoples lives in danger when they drive reckless. Jones denies what the cop just saw occur and acts like a jerk. Cop responds in kind. I would have liked to see the cop be more professional and not let his emotions interfere with the contact. He spent too much time arguing when it never resolves anything. Write the tickets and move on. He likely got more tickets than he would have had he not been a jerk. Don't know how many he actually got, but someone mentioned 5. seems a bit much but I don't know what all he was cited for.
-

Exactly like when people say who wins in a street fight, boxer or MMA fighter. I always say whoevers the best STREET FIGHTER.
-
When you have to blow into a device to start your car, you may want to rethink ever revving your engine or even driving around in a sports car...
Lol what a dumbass. All he had to do was stfu.
I got a warning for "excessive display of speed" before. I when 0-35 too fast. ::)
Hard to prove unless on camera right?
-
jones is no doubt a fine upstanding hebrew but looking at the vid he needs to grow up a bit. a lot of cops are pieces of sht but you never get anywhere taking that attitude with them. especially bad in the states, if he wasn't famous and there was no camera running he would have probably ended up riddled with bullets.
not worth it over a BS ticket.

Exactly. Jon's a known POS. Any officer with even an ounce of experience knows a POS is a POS. They lie, manipulate and can never not be a POS.

Based on the videos posted he does seem to be a pos.
Felony hit-and-run charge, driving without a license etc. He should think twice about cursing at a cop and calling him a pig on camera. He sounded high or drunk and got off without a sobriety check.
-
He got a DWB.
It happens. Shut your mouth and let the lawyers do their thing.
-
Seems he got a ticket for illegal modification to his car's exhaust
he's now been held in county jail, his court is scheduled april 5th, two weeks before the dc fight...
for fuck sake, this fight needs to happen or internet won't matter
-
Bad wrap, LOL!

Now back in jail. >:(

It's a tough one. Fame and shit doesn't affect the relationship between blacks and the police. Jones should have been smarter and not mouthed-off because there was a camera running. Someone in his position should trust the police less.
You never win an argument with a cop. Take the ticket and STFU. Once the guy starts going on about an obscured registration it's a done deal, LOL!
Great fighter but he needs to stay the fuck off drugs and out of trouble.
-
not that the fight woulld have happened anyway, dc was seen barely able to step with his left foot in some wrestling event
seems the fight is off
-
Groink is not black.
Spends a lot of time messing around with the law.
Just sayin'. :)

Guys, Jon Jones can beat up just about everybody on the planet in a fist fight. Yet he still feels the need to rev his engine like a badass at a stop light to prove his manhood. Knowing you could fuck anyone up why the hell is there anything else to prove when some guy drives up next to you? The guy is out of his fucking mind. This isn't an 18-24 year old kid. He's almost 30 years old with plenty of money. If he wants to race cars as a hobby on the side? He's got the kind of money to do it. And he's been rich for awhile now. It's not like he just came into money and bought a hot car and is out seeing what it can do. Anyone watching that video could tell Jones was baked out of his mind. Anyone know the weed laws in New Mexico? After that hit and run, if i'm the chief of police in his town, I'm having eyes on that fool as much as possible. There are gang bangers who would treat the police better than Jones just did in that video. He just fucked himself even more. EVery cop in that area is going to watch that video and want to get the prick.

Jones needs to wear a go pro video camera and have it on him when he's out of the house. Have a few mounted on all his vehicles. If he really thought he never does anything wrong he would do this. But we all know he won't because he's doing shit he shouldn't be doing more often than not...

People who get out of the hood, trailer park, jail, abusive relationship, or whatever other bad situation should stay the fuck out. Helping others is fine but don't fuck your shit up and go back.

jon jones behavior is very baffling ive been watching mma since the beginning
in the modern era so far he is the best fighters to ever step foot in the ufc and i am someone who cannot stand him, but he has met fought and
beat every style thrown at him.
someone can correct me if i am wrong but i believe he is the only athlete in history to lose a reebok and a nike deal in one year .
his behavior has cost him millions in lost fight purses and now lost sponsorship , not to mention lawyer fees.
he also has gotten into more trouble than any other mma fighter, beside ryan gracie and jason miller. but he is the only champion that i can
remember getting into repeat trouble.
i really think he suffers from a god complex where in his own mind he can do no wrong.

yeah your right but usually mma has been pretty low key as far as fighters getting into alot of trouble.

Well said.
I am no Jon Jones fan.
Clearly having not seen the whole incident we don't know what happened.
It did seem that the cop was just giving him hassle for any minor thing he could
Come up with.
Jones was ok to start with - then got agitated & abusive ( maybe understanderable )
Though not the best thing to do.

Cops don't need video to charge you in America. For decades thousands of people have lost their license for reckless driving, drag racing etc with no video evidence what so ever the than the cops word. And no witness's other than a cop. People with money like Jones will go to court with a lawyer and the lawyer will plea down one or two of the offences. Because of Jones past, cops will target him for as long as he's in the area. They can make shit up if they want. But knowing Jones behavior they won't have to make anything up.

I'm fully aware of that. I'm just defending jones here. There's absolutely no evidence what happened. The cop probably got intimidated by his cars loud ass engine and wanted to stir up shit just because he could, made shit up like you said.
Anyone could have lost it in that situation, that's how irritating the cop was and I think jones kept it really cool by any standard.

It was Jones who lost his cool, calling names, cursing, angry that he got stopped. You do know how this plays out, right? In court. Come court date, In many places the judge asks how you plea, Jones and Attorney say "not guilty". Judge asks of officer to step up, officer goes over his notes (and may even have dash cam and officer cam submitted as evidence) court, attorney questions officer. That is kinda the simplistic way some cases are handled, in court. Jones says he wasn't speeding, officer says he was.

It's sad to see that even though you've been the worldchamp, have loads of money, lots of fans etc you feel the need to take drugs and do dumb shit.
Some people are like that, once you have it all, you want more.
Maybe Earth (living on) is a boring existence with nothing left on it to experience for those people, thus the drugs.

i don't think he needs to prove his manhood and i don't think for a second that he reved his engine to prove his manhood. imo he was having fun, enjoying the toys of his success like we all fucking would
i didn't see him being baked out of his mind, neither. seemed quite sober to me and i fucking love to get baked sometimes. if he was under influence of any substance that would make it illegal for him to drive, it would have already been brought up and the social media would party with that news topic
no no, what i think is that there was an officious officer brown who got intimidated and jealous of this beautiful and loud super car that he doesn't even know how to operate and just wanted to give jones shit

Sorry, but tie goes to the cop on this one. Jones referenced showing out to his "fans". Cop has zero reason to make up the story, Jones has motivation to say he didn't do it. Cop was pretty specific about a Cadillac, how it slowed down, but Jones kept going. When Jones said he didn't break the speed limit, he was asked what the limit was and he didn't know. I know it's uncool these days to believe a cop over an upstanding guy like Jones, but in this case, tie goes to the cop. Having said that, the cop should have done away with the provoking comments like "Lose the attitude" and just get the information he needed. "Why were you drag racing" is not how he was taught to start the conversation. I'll bet it was more like "I'm Officer ___ the reason I stopped you was for drag racing, let me see your drivers license and insurance/registration".
-

you know.. i can't argue with that. i have strong sense of logic and your logic outdid mine here with that post. the cop did say he was driving the speed limit when jones's car was going faster, and like you pointed out, jones said he didn't know what the speed limit was.
i can agree now that jones is more likely guilty as charged than innocent
i liked this debate. further proves that i don't have a biased mind and am able to listen and process the opposing views and admit loss if proven wrong

aaaaand it turns out the cop who cited jones got slapped with lawsuit after he arrested a man who got epileptic seazor

how hilarious. i guess laws of karma or whatever smiled upon my sense of impartialism and gave me this too fuck with agnostic ;D
" The same Albuquerque Police Department officer who recently cited Jon “Bones” Jones for allegedly drag racing is now in hot water over a different traffic stop. This one happened last year and the man he arrested just slapped him with a lawsuit.
Attorney Ed Chavez says his client, Gary Martinez, lost everything after his arrest.
"Lost his job, lost his apartment, lost his motor vehicle and literally came out of jail with just the clothes on his back," says Chavez.
APD Officer Jason Brown found Martinez in his car on the side of the road in May 2015 and was sure Martinez had been drinking. At least sure enough to arrest him, which led to a two-month stint in jail for Martinez.
According to the lawsuit now filed against Brown, Martinez was driving to work that day and had a seizure, leaving him unconscious. He allegedly told Brown that he believed he had a seizure, and that he was epileptic, but the officer continued with field sobriety tests.
Officers found nothing to indicate Martinez had been drinking, but still arrested him. He agreed to a breathalyzer test back at the police station and the results came back negative. His blood was drawn to check if he had been using drugs and nearly two months later, the results came back negative again.
Because Martinez had been on parole for a previous crime, he had to stay in jail for those two months until the charges against him were dismissed. They were eventually, but by that time the damage had been done.
Martinez and his lawyer believe his constitutional rights were violated and that it was negligent to arrest him for DWI with virtually no evidence. The lawsuit also names the city and police department as defendants."

Fair comment.. Agnostic.
Jones didn't help himself - not knowing speed limit was not good.
Cop did have an attitude - not overly aggressive - more antagonistic / sarcastic.
It's still one's word v the other. Though likely they will believe the cop.
Why no cop car video.?

But is Jones mind into fighting anymore?
Seems he is more interested in other things.
Not the first time he's in trouble with the law.

In the US, everybody wants to sue everybody for something. And what amount are they suing the officer for? What are they looking to get? A pay day? Exemption? Why not sue the department? The charges were dismissed, correct? Now was it due to time served? Was it due to the DA finding no probable cause for the arrest? These are questions that one needs to ask.

well the man who officer brown thought to be driving reckless wasn't driving reckless but had an apileptic seazure. even after doing alcohol tests officer brown refused to believe he was sober, because noone gets epileptic seazures while driving. then the drug tests and all sorts of other shenanigans
it's all in the article i posted

Why no cop car video.?
Car cameras are expensive. Maybe the department hadn't gotten the funds to purchase them. Maybe it exists and will be released. I don't know

u mean dash bord cams? russians have them by the millions and u can get good ones with under 100 bucks. "expensive", cop cars have alien technology, but nope, can't afford a dash bord cam

Good point. However, Russians aren't tasked with the criteria that comes with dash cams. Just one parameter that eats up a lot of budget is creating and maintaining a tamper proof server/storage for all cameras. The camera systems themselves require additional things like triggers that the $100 model doesn't have. Exceeding a certain speed, doors opening, remote start and the audio capabilities. Installation of the systems etc. The start up expense is significant. I'm a huge fan of body and car cams and while we have had car cams for several years, we are just now adding body cams to our equipment.

ST. PAUL, Minn. — The rush to outfit police officers with body cameras after last summer's unrest in Ferguson, Missouri, threatens to saddle local governments with steep costs for managing the volumes of footage they must keep for months or even years, according to contracts, invoices and company data reviewed by The Associated Press.
The storage expenses — running into the millions of dollars in some cities — often go overlooked in the debates over using cameras as a way to hold officers accountable and to improve community relations.
In this Feb. 2, 2015 photo, Duluth, Minn., police officer Dan Merseth demonstrates the docking procedure for police body cameras at police headquarters. (AP Image)
Some projects can be funded on a one-and-done basis - providing agencies with body cameras is not one of them.
Yet those costs can have a significant effect on city and county budgets, and in some cases may force police chiefs to choose between paying officers on the street or paying yearly video storage fees.
Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake already has sounded the alarm over the long-term costs of police body cameras.
In December, she vetoed a proposal that would have required officers to wear cameras because she didn't believe the costs and other details were adequately considered. City officials estimated costs up to $2.6 million a year for storage and the extra staff needed to manage the video data.

lol fair enough
it just sounds so bizarre to me how it's so expensive

Governments involved... but seriously.. capturing and controlling the video evidence with a system that doesn't allow for tampering and will hold up in court, along with the hours and hours of video data that has be be stored in a secure server with back ups.. I guess it gets expensive. But municipalities should view it as insurance.. multi million dollar law suits that may have been avoided had the incident been caught on dash cam
