Well, when you really only have ONE (two, if you include pumping iron) bodybuilding documentary to pick from, you don't have much of an option.

Do you think they are going to show "Battle for the Olympia 2004?"

Don't forget "Stand Tall" with Lou and Boyer.

Don't forget "Stand Tall" with Lou and Boyer.

Well, by that logic, we can also include every bodybuilding documentary about every bodybuilder ever made. Stand Tall was a film specifically about Ferrigno.

Im talking about a more general movie about bodybuilding (pumping iron or generation iron).

It has been on Netflix for awhile, along with Pumping Iron.

I think generation iron had good intentions, however they fucked it up by trying to hard to develop the bodybuilders into "characters" like a reality show rather than just go with the flow like pumping iron did and just tweak the character narrative

I actually enjoyed Stand Tall for the very reason with the scenes in the old Venice World Gym. That place looked like a great place to train. I know Lou is hated and all, most of which he brought on himself, but he was a good representative for promoting weight training to the general public during his heyday

I have BFTO 2004 on DVD

At the press conference, King Kamali shoved Triple H and screamed "IFBB baby!"   ::)

ESPN Classic channel is showing Generation Iron again tonight, Sunday June 12, at 8 pm ET.  As much as this channel shows this documentary, somebody there surely likes it!

I wonder if they'll edit out the scene where grandma wipes Roellys ass or when Dana Linn Bailey roid rages and throws a bald midget off her back

Only thing that movie is good for is seeing that goblin Branch getting thrown off one of his horses as he's talking about how the only injuries he's ever sustained have been in the gym (or wait was it the opposite?). That little manlet tried so hard to sound and act tough and rugged through the whole movie, fukn hilarious. Probably the first time he had rode any of his horses in at least a year.

Oh and seeing that homo Phil jogging through the Rockies in basketball shoes was really funny too and seeing cyclists ride by him that have wider frames than he does.

Kai trying to be all introspective and neo-hippie is always hilarious as well. You fucked a grapefruit dude, you will never be taken seriously or hold any credit behind what you say no matter what kind of pseudo-intellectual spin you put on it. You fucked a fruit to pay for your GH kits and that's it. Says everything. This era is a joke.

Go into the restroom at grand central station and find a toilet with unflushed shit
That's the equivalent of the movie!
