Post by: MAXX on April 15, 2016, 12:48:11 PM
why is it that you get more vascular when you get older?

when I was younger and lean ~8% bf I didnt have much visible veins. Now that Im at about the same bodyfat as then they are all over. Even on my abs  ???

I only started getting more vascular in the last year or so. My veins have always been a little prominent, which is great for lab work. It is interesting how one's vascular definition comes and goes throughout the day. I suspect it has something to do with how hydrated one is. On the other hand, I am really vascular first thing in the morning.

I can no longer get a pump.  I think it has to do with my veins having been blown out too wide from all those many years of pumping.

Try Plazmosis. Skin bursting pumps, roadmap vascularity, kidney emulsifying energy.

THis is correct and as you continue to train you develop greater collatoral veins.

If there was some legal supplement I could buy that I thought would give me a pump again when I train arms or chest I would definitely try it.

I have always been pretty vascular so really can't say.  Some women seem to love it and some have said it looks like it hurts ha!

They are very happy when I donate blood.

That's not true, really. How can you get more vascular just because you train more? Either you're a veiny person or you're not. Training more doesn't grow more veins. If you don't have standout veins, you never will, no matter how much training. It seems like its partly genetic and partly environmental. Obviously, training can't make new veins appear, so you basically have what you have.

You have the same amount of muscles also, but they develop and get bigger as more training time is added over log periods................. same as veins my brother.

You're right.  It's called angiogenesis.

I agree with Wes based on my own experience. Training my biceps for instance after a short while of consistent training my Cephalic vein became more pronounced and as I continue to train I am adding more and more visible tributaries to my arm.

Remember when "hyperplasia" was all the rage and the buzzword in the magazines back in the 80s?  Grow new muscle cells if you train hard enough and take anabolic Mega Paks.

Would you agree that being vascular is, at least in part, the result one's genetics? Obviously, being in good, lean condition is another part of this phenomenon.

What women love is of little importance, particularly if they are not into weight training themselves. I seriously doubt any woman would turn a guy down just because he is vascular.

Anytime I've had a blood draw, the phlebotomist who does it seems pleased that it is so easy to do with me. Many phlebotomists are women, so....date one of them.

Most definitely. I take after my dad who was very muscular with vascular arms.  I'm surprised when I became single that I didn't date one.  I have been donating every eight weeks for a very long time!

Skip Hill said he used some product from synthatek (or however you spell it) that gives you crazy vascularity. Not sure if it would induce a better pump, but he said he noticed crazy vascularity when he shot it.
