Wow look at him here owning those two in his old age. Ronnie looks like a bloated carcass and Ruhl' abs look like a loaf of bread. Vince is timeless

From left to right: 8th place, 11th place, 2nd place. Ridiculous.
-
Ruhls forearms were a real weakness of his
-
Vince is my absolute number 1 favourite of the period. There's just something about his proportions or balance or something that to my mind puts him in the same sort of category as Nubret, Leidlmeyer et al... sort of timeless maybe?
-
Very, underrated despite being amongst the most winning pros. Super nice man and incredible physique.
-
Ronnies quads still looked crazy
-
Vince Taylor was a great bodybuilder. Who has competed in most contests: Him or Dexter Jackson?
-
Vince might have been the best built 50 yr old ever in that show.
Dexter could take this title from him in a couple of years.

Vince got better with age. He came in heavier, but that just added to an already amazing physique.

vince turned pro and was already looking like a 'pro'weighed 208/210 early on and by mid 90's 230/240 onstage at 5'8 ,,probably forearm to delts some of the best arm/delt combos at the time..

At the 2006 Mr. Olympia.
Absolutely sick! Especially considering his age.

Anyone know what he weighed in 2006? I remember reading he was up to 250 onstage at that point, or was that for the Masters Olympia when he would go up against Sonny Schmidt?
-
Sick physique (last pic he's ANNIHILATING a 1994 version of Ronnie Coleman) :o :o :o

From that one pic Ronnie does not look 2nd place.
Vince looks very good.
Great physique - underrated by many.
And very decent person.
-
Truly one of the best physiques, ever.
But two things:
1. I hate how wimp-ass his training is.
2. I'm not a fan of the man as a person. Fake.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! What you mean fake? Vince is a quality dude. Please explain.

Have had several interactions with Vince and he comes across as friendly and outgoing at first, but with time the sincerity of this diminishes, considerably.

How would he rank if he showed up at today's Mr. Olympia in his PRIME shape?

It's possible you just outstayed your welcome. Some people are oblivious that it's maybe time to leave on a high.

Outstayed my welcome? My interactions with him were not born of some fandom. The truth is, I was the one who severed any possibility of further contact when Vince's disrespect outstayed ITS welcome with ME.
I won't chase anyone for anything. Especially when its solely to their benefit.
Some come to expect others to just DO for them.

Hey, no hard feelings eh my Canadian friend. Just didn't know your backstory. Normally it's us the fans and them on the other side of the table who just want to be left alone in peace to finish their set, or eat their meal. Fans sometimes feel that they are owed the attention of those they look up to. We're strangers to them. They oh us nothing, not even civility. Again, clearly your experience is of a different nature. Anyway, go Blue Jays, Maple Leafs and Raptors 😉.

No sweat. And some random bodybuilder surely doesn't owe me a damn thing, no. But neither do I owe him. Unfortunately, many "celebrities" come to believe everyone will do anything for them whenever they want.
I'll help out anyone who I think is decent and respectful. But the minute it turns into expectation, and then discourteous behaviour, I'm out.
Be cool.
