Why bother to speak to any physicians or consult any of the vast research that exists on medical matters when an actor is willing to share his knowledge?  It would be beneath me to watch the clip, so what movie or project was he "incidentally" promoting from his soap box?

you need to reevaluate what you are saying.  personal experience, as in the every day work setting, means as much, if not MORE, in this matter.
