Last night was an impromptu evening with shit food, Macallan 18 and good cigars and this morning I feel like a $1,000,000! Couldn't wait to hit the gym, all cylinders firing nagging injuries feeling better. Is this my new training table?

Not every day but don't be scared to eat junk. Eating clean all the time is ridiculous when you train hard.

I was having a discussion about this recently with a few buddies... we're all trying to live a little cleaner... but the body still likes a little junk. I added kale smoothies 2 to 3x a day, and felt weak... added taco bell drive thru breakfast for a steak crunchwrap, and felt insanely good and very strong. Sometimes the body just craves whatever it is in the junk.

I cannot explain it. Maybe it's broscience. I was coming off the flu, eating super clean and using these smoothies a lot. Craving high fat, high calories. Had one of those greasy high calorie breakfast wraps and felt amazing. Body just wanted high calories and fat.

After that, if he makes a meal of broiled chicken breasts with no salt or condiments two days in a row, he goes to the hospital. It's like he is allergic to clean food now.

The body literally reacts to certain salt/fat/sugar combinations like drug addiction, so it's actual science.

This sounds like an anomaly. I mean, did he include any fats into his diet (from peanuts or olive oil)? I guess eating 100% clean can be a "bad" thing, but i have a hard time believing he developed this disorder because he didn't eat junk food.

Last SAT over the course of the day, I had around 8 drinks. (From 11 AM to like 5 PM).
(Various parties, I wasnt driving).
So a little more than one per hour.
I then ate pizza and a eggplant sub with sauce/cheese when I got home. (Ate nothing all day up until that point).
I woke up feeling perfect. (Shit food absorbs booze maybe).
Anyways, something you dont wanna do often, but I find when I drink 6 beers+ or shots, whatever, pizza and crap food helps to feel better for some reason.
(High fat and carbs may absorb the stuff). Plus, dont really catch a buzz because of that absorption...
