Everything seems to point that Casein is one of the best before bed because of its slow absorbtion rate...

i always eat chicken or beef before i go to bed along with some carbs and fat.

In the Netherlands we've got some stuff that's close tot fatfree cottage cheese, we call it kwark.
It's sold in packages of 500 grams, and contains about 50 gram of protein a pack.
BTW, the protein it contains is mostly casein, and theres some lactose in it, about 4 gram each 100 like milk, it contains nother more than a lot of water.
