(L-R)  Johnny Maldonado, Pierre Vandensteen, Carlos Rodriguez.  Don't know who the MC was.  This was from the 1973 IFBB Mr. International where Pierre won the short class and beat Bob Birdsong (medium) and Dave Dupree (tall) for the overall title!  Look at him and you can see why.

Carlos Rodriguez competed as an IFBB pro in the late 70's-early 80's.  He died of stomach cancer in 1991. :(

Anyone know if Johnny Maldonado was any relation to Moses Maldonado, who won the light-heavy class at the 1982 Nationals and went on to take 3rd at the Worlds that year?  If you look at them both there could be a slight resemblance.
