When it comes to Competition Mike Quinn was a bit better than "big Jim Quinn. Just look at his Performance at the 1989 Olympia !
Mike Quinn (in Shape) had a small waist, good Arms, and a very good back. Jim Quinn was real massive, but his structure didnīt allowed him to get to the top-ranks in the iffbb-pro-Scene. But a real "nice guy"....met him at the fibo in Germany and was impressed by his mass !

Agreee, Jim was huge but a little blocky. Mike had better proportions and got shredded.

He had the broadest waist in IFBB history......and the most floppy ears.

Jim Quinn was a better bodybuilder, Mike was more of a contest guy, as far as gym physique and size Jim Wuinn without a doubt!

I respect Jim Quinn very much, but his physique was terrible.

Like I said: I've never seen such a big waist/ poorer V-taper on a IFBB-pro, even though the guy was huge.
And I mean huge....about the most mass of his era. Wish I had his physique, well wished it when I was younger...

But he was no Mr O material, not by far.

Nice guy plus great work ethic, don't get me wrong.... 8)

Didn't he go to that USA wrestling bullshit ?  Must have been perfect, power to him, kudos.
