He already said he wouldn't take the job if Trump offered it
I suspect Christie is going to be left in tears too when Trump passes him over

Kasich brings OH, which Trump absolutely needs to win. Also great vibes in Penn, etc.
Christie is better as atty general. And on a stage full of sexy trump model family, Christie looks like shit. Kasich is always pigging out, but better than Christie.
There are lots of establishment people trump can choose.

Doesn't matter what Trump wants (I can't even believe I need to point this out to you)
Kasich isn't going to help Trump win

Kasich would likely give Trump Ohio. Very popular there. If a VP brings a major swing state, they're worth it. Rubio works well for that too.

try to pay attention
It doesn't matter what Kasich would give to Trump
Kasich has no interest in helping Trump win anything

Trump will be 70 when he takes office, right? He's not exactly an exercise addict, he's used to being coddled. He'd be a one-term prez at best, before getting bored and wandering off.
-
Kasich started an anti-trump campaign. He is not joining Trump and Trump is not picking him.
I'm calling it now.
Trump is selecting Huntsman.

I'd wager about a 75% probability of this ^

Why do you assume Trump is lazy and doesn't like to work? He works his add off and is a work addict. Sure he spends his fair share of time golfing now but Trump is solidifying his legacy. Everything about trump is about TRUMP. The name brand he created. He is a workaholic. Trump will do whatever he can to prove his doubters wrong.

Trump is selecting Huntsman.
Huntsman is a good looking billionaire, moderate, who endorsed Trump. HUGELY popular with religious base.
There really is no better pick than Huntsman. The ticket just reeks of success.
-
Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin, Senator Tim Scott and of course oft mentioned Governor Martinez would all be intriguing picks as well.

What does that have to do with the fact (based on Kasichs own statement) that he has no interest in helping Trump. I'd suspect the same is true of both Rubio, Cruz and Bush and I believe all have already made statements to that effect.
None of these guys have any interest in helping Trump win a national election so whatever way they could help him in a certain state or demographic is totally irrelevant

uh, why would he want to do that?
Don't you remember, he really wants Hillary to win
Can't you even remember your own CT
Tell us what happens to Trump after he escorts Hillary into the White House. He won't even be able to go out on the street in NYC without 100 body guards.

lol... and EVERY SINGLE ONE of the would accept the veep slot. Being one heartbeat away from the presidency, with a hyper immature & erratic 70 year old President?
LOL no matter what they said, every single one of them would jump on that job.

Well, I guess we shouldn't expect rational judgement (or even awareness of facts) from the person who believes Trump was planted by Clinton to help Hillary win

Ohio Gov. John Kasich is still in the running for the Republican nomination himself, but has also dismissed earlier questions about the prospect of his settling for a vice presidential spot. Sen. Ted Cruz, Sen. Marco Rubio, Gov. Scott Walker and former Gov. Jeb Bush have also said in some form or another that they would not be interested in a vice presidential bid.

Trump should pick Don Jr. This way if Daddy dies Jr. gets to take over.

bump for 240
tell us what happens to Trump when his followers realize he tricked them and his entire campaign was designed so that he can escort Hillary into the White House

They'll never accept it. They'll continue to live in denial that they were duped by this fake-ass republican.

someone will definitely continue to live in denial but it won't be Trump supporters
On Morning Joe today Trump just said today that Hillary shouldn't even be allowed to run due to her emails
or course that dope Joe Scarborough didn't even bother to follow up and ask Trump exactly who would be the one to "not allow her to run" and by what authority
A simple follow up question and Trump would have been stumped.
I guess of course, comments like that are all part of Trump strategy to propel Hillary into the White House

Think the GOP selection this election cycle was bad? You have the tea party and fundies to thank.

Trump said on O'Reilly tonight that Kasich is in the VP list. Kasich has low negatives among independents and even dems.
