Sorry Kwon, this is not about fat black chicks
Boxing today is a Mexican fiesta. The heavyweights are just shit. Most think boxing is losing a lot of their athletes to MMA but I don't see many big ass black dudes in MMA. Where are the big black heavyweights that made the sport so popular? Are they just trying to play football? Just lazy? Does the general public only want to watch little Asians and Mexicans fight each other?

MMA doesn't have any new heavyweight talent either. The top guys are older veterans except for stripe. Seems wide open surprised more talented big guys don't go for it. You would think there would be more college wrestlers football players etc who could easily transition.

The big bad black heavyweights are now in the NBA, NFL, and other sports.

Thank God. It's better for their long term health.

They've given up on such barbaric endeavors and instead became CSN MFT's

Deontay Wilder is the USA's best boxing HW hope. His lack of decent opposition despite being a world champion and having nearly 40 pro fights is a concern though.
PPV did a lot of damage to boxing in America since it restricted the sports exposure to many children growing up in poorer areas.

It's tough to be an in-shape big heavyweight, especially in MMA. The "required" training is just too cardio-intensive and exaggerated to allow an athlete to remain large.
Most especially if the athletes are adequately tested.
Two great examples: Look at Brock and Pudz. Both men entered MMA extra muscularly huge. Both shrunk dramatically within a year of intensive training.
