It's amazing how all their songs are essentially about Canada, Canadian History(good and bad), and yes, cottage time

Sad news. 2016 is brutal! Remember seeing them at The Lakeview Manor, and The Terrapin. Took the steam train to the concert.

Not a huge fan, but I do very much dig several Hip songs.

This is terribly sad.

I have a feeling his "idea" of Canada mirrors my own, and it's much different than that of radical liberals' like Trudeau, etc.

In the city in which I live, in the area I reside, it's just loads of ragheads.

When their numbers creep high enough, Canada as Gord and myself know it will cease to be.

Bummer news. From all reports, the man was a talented and likeable fella.

I'll tell you this. When Kim Mitchell bites it, I'll be inconsolable. He's already recently suffered a heart attack.

My best wishes to Gord and his family and friends.
