Today on "Ask Dave", Dave Palumbo said that they are no longer going to compete against each other.
According to Dave's source, Kai will never compete at the Olympia again. He will focus on the ASC.
Phil will focus only on the Olympia. He will never do the ASC again.
But if their paths cross again onstage, things might revert back to 2014. But they were seen training together recently.

But, each can focus on winning certain shows, that is unless Cedric, Bonac, Beyeke, Jon Delarosa, Dallas McCarver, Brandon Curry, Max Charles, Rhoden, Roelly, Justin Compton, and Kuclo all decide to step it up.

Friends were Arnold and Franco, who competed against each other since day one, and remain close buddies to this day.
