150kg dumbells

Real impressive ::) I know a guy that goes jogging with these. He is twice as big as any pro but doesn't compete because he has to take care of his family farm.

What the hell is anyone going to do with those?  They're too heavy to even be practical.  Only a very few people could deadlift them and I'm willing to bet nobody in the world could do presses with them.

I remember Tevita Aholelei saying in MM, 2 or 3 years ago, that he saw Ronnie Coleman do shoulders presses with 300 pounds dumbbells...Now I know Ronnie is strong off-season, but I doubt those numbers are accurate.

At the old World Gym over on Oahu we had dumbells up to 300 at 10lb increments.  Ronnie did 12 reps of one arm DB rows.  There were a few others that could do 8 or 10 with that weight.  I never saw anyone do anything with them but that exercise.  We regualry used the 200's for benching.  A couple guys did two-arm tricep extensions with the 200's.  The 300's were mostly for show.  They even had a promotion that anyone who could rack the 300's got a free one year membership.  I guy did it.  Those db's are now at Gold's in Honolulu

I think that, with the right 'partner', you could (together) do any excercise you want with those dumbells - as shown below  ;D

i was going to mention ronnie using them. Kamali claimed to use them, but the pic he took was of him holding it just off the floor. The man is a piss bag full of shit and wind, theres no way he could get 1-2 reps with them

It would be pretty freakin hard to balance those for a press, but I am sure some big guys with a good grip could shrug them or do farmers walks with them or row them with or without straps.

I remember Tevita Aholelei saying in MM, 2 or 3 years ago, that he saw Ronnie Coleman do shoulders presses with 300 pounds dumbbells...Now I know Ronnie is strong off-season, but I doubt those numbers are accurate.
dude no way in hell ronnie coleman can shoulder press 300lbs.in his cost of redemp. ronnie did 7 reps of a 160lbs dumbells, yates used 2 do 150lbs dumbell presses during his reign as mr olympia.....ronnie can do 1 arm rows with that but doining presses with those r simply out of question.now if ronnie weighs in at about 340 or 350 lbs in the offseason, there is a possibilty of ronnie doing 300lb presses of any kind .incline dumbell press, shoulder press etc...i think so its is possible since ronnie did 200lbs dumbell presses for reps as high as 12 at a bodyweight of 287lbs in his offseason.....so if ronnie got his offseason weight increased by 50 or 60 lbs i.e big ronnie should be weighing in at 360 or 370 lbs in his offseaon, i bet he could eek out 2 or 3 or may be as much as 5 reps with those monster dumbells

The seal breaks of, and you can't put a decent weld on it.

195 pounds would come out at about $300...EACH
So a pair would cost about $600

Peace
