There is nothing bad or wrong or shameful about living with modest means. But, to me, the "fake it til you make it" life philosophy is shameful.

I worked at a call center doing customer service for Verizon in college. I didn't actually work for Verizon though I worked for a subcontractor. Not a bad job for an uneducated person of Vince's...temperament.
I only made $10/hr but there was always overtime available and we got monthly bonuses based on our stats. With those things factored in I was netting about $500/week there on average.

The latest craze right now is "Holistic Health Practitioner". So I found the bare minimal certification to satisfy using the title. Rich folks now tell their friends that they are "seeing their Holistic Guru" rather than their "Life Coach" who they saw 5 years ago before "Their Personal Trainer" 10 years ago.......you see what I'm getting at, Getbigger???
Point being that its all about people being "keeping up with the Joneses" and doing what they see their "celebrities" do on TV. They can't afford Kim Kardashian's 1000 dollar an hour Holistic Guru but they can afford a 50 dollar an hour "Holistic Guru" such as myself....and I can actually do a much much job than the 1000 dollar one.

Vincenzo, in all seriousness, you have to be careful about the ethical issues that come along with this. Yes, you may have a certification in HHP, however, if one of your clients get sick or dies, a lawyer would take you to task very quickly. One certificate does not make one highly qualified and you'd be called out on this. Just sayin'.
And that's why I do a much better job. A holistic guru or life coach is not a doctor whatsoever and a lot of these guys actually fall for their own bullshit and actually pull stuff like this.
What I do is give advice and "sell" not prescribe vitamins and supplements. I used to do "hair analysis" and hook people up to a Ryodoraku Health Monitor (sold them as well) but I ceased that practice a very long time ago for the reasons you mentioned...not because it didn't work but because it made me appear as a medical physician.

A couple of things...
One, I commend Vince for hustling his ass off in achieving his goals. Trying to make money from this industry is very difficult. I know some people (Bob Chick, Ron Avidan and a few others) who have made a great living from this industry, but I also know many others who have crashed and burned (some that are presently crashing and burning with the only people holding the water hose being law enforcement).
Two, I also echo another member here in saying that I thought Vince's podcasts were pretty good. I think if he would bring in guests to discuss industry matters and have people feed him industry secrets/gossip, the show could do pretty well.

Its certainly difficult to make an "honest dollar" in this industry. My success is due to the same reason I'm still around Getbig....I simply don't give up or quit. I'm always working on new products and new opportunities along with consulting with supplement companies on new products. Its good to be needed. The fact is that a lot of people who "have the appearance" of wealth are as broke as a fucking joke...some of them who are good friends of mine are about to even get indicted and spend a few years in prison despite my numerous warnings.
As far as The Vince Goodrum Show is concerned, I would love to bring it back and past episodes are still available on Anabolic Mayhem but its simply difficult to do with sponsors as the money from it would have paid for guest appearances on the show. I actually had a ton of offers for some IFBB pros and other people to come on the show for free except the only problem is that in return, I would have to acquiesce to turning the show into a giant 30 minute infomercial along with asking "pillow fight" questions. That's not the way I do business. Originally, it was actually going to be the "Guns & Goodrum" show with Billy Guns but he changed his mind at the time
