Gee, who could have seen this coming?

A transgender male won all-state honors in women’s track and field in Alaska this week.

Haines senior Nattaphon Wangyot, who self-identifies as a woman, finished fifth in the 100 and third in the 200 at the girls state track meet.

The Daily Caller reported, via CBS Local: http://www.ktva.com/high-school-runner-brings-spotlight-to-alaska-transgender-policy-432/

High school girls in Alaska are crying foul after a male sprinter took home all-state honors in girls’ track and field. According to local reports, it was the first time in Alaskan history that a male athlete competed in the girls’ state championships.

Haines senior Nattaphon Wangyot–who self-identifies as a girl–advanced to the state finals in the 100-meter and 200-meter events. He won fifth place in the 100-meter dash and third place in the 200-meter. In both events, he competed against girls as young as ninth grade.

One of the girls Wangyot beat out for a slot at the state meet, Hutchison runner Emma Daniels, took issue with allowing a male athlete to compete in girls events.

“I’m glad that this person is comfortable with who they are and they’re able to be happy in who they are, but I don’t think it’s competitively completely 100-percent fair,” she told a local CBS station.

This is absolutely bullshit.

I don't give a fuck if he wants to be a she, that's fine, but when it comes to sports, you can't stop genetics.

This fucker cheated.

Probably will never have an operation and has used "transgendered" as a way to just win track meets.

It's disgusting.

Does it matter if they have an operation tu?

I mean males are naturally going to be stronger, faster and bigger than females. If they've gone through puberty they have an advantage regardless if they have an operation or not

I think it would matter some, depending on age and a slew of other things... such as general test production.

While I do agree that the overall size of the person would be larger and they would have more musculature if they went through puberty at all, but I honestly can't give a biological answer on if the advantages are there.

My mental "bro science" would agree with you and say that they would have an advantage, but I can't say for certain. I would most likely err to the side of caution and say you should have to take a chromosomal test before being admitted to a sporting event. Unless of course the events are specifically designated as co-ed sports. Then it wouldn't matter I guess.
