On his Q&A shows, he will advise people on doses/timing of: Insulin, GH, T3, Clen, Tren, Testosterone, HCG, Clomid, Arimidex, Site-injections... and much more...
But then advises that people avoid caffeine; or use it sparingly.
I like the Dave's show but it seems odd that caffeine is looked at negatively.

Insulin, GH, T3, Clen, Tren, Testosterone, HCG, Clomid, Arimidex, and Site-injections are not harmful to your health, but caffeine is. Hope this helps. ;D

Kinda like Evan Centopanni saying that he doesn't like diet sodas cause he feels they're aren't healthy. :D

Lots of juicing people buy into the whole adrenal exhaustion, cortisol-boosting, supposedly mega deleterious effects of caffeine and other stimulants.
My view is that caffeine when ingested in the form of coffee is a goddamn health tonic. Loaded with anti-oxidants, reduces incidence of type 2 diabetes, is good for the liver etc.
BTW, Palumbo sold usnic acid which can literally kill your liver and did in a few cases. Don't know if he still sells it.
-
Probably because of link w cortisol.

Juicers may actually have too little cortisol in some cases.
Not to mention how anabolics directly antagonize cortisol.
Cortisol is not all bad.

A person should probably seek to find the "right" level of caffeine and stick to it (if insisting on using it). Should probably be a reasonable amount, like 6 oz strong coffee early am.
But it hooks a person, too, and there's no getting around that part.

What are the good things about it iyo, Van. I don't know too much about it but to think it's associated with stress and agnst.

I think that cortisol can have an impact on reducing inflammation

Was just reading up on it. Seems it is good to a certain level, then it gives trouble.

A normal stress response which includes a rise in cortisol is vital to life. I suspect the "burned out" feeling you can get on long cycles with drugs like tren may be due to low cortisol/too much cortisol antagonism. Interestingly the Russians had a test for seeing if an athlete should cycle off steroids or if their response to drugs would be good. You took Dianabol at night and tested cortisol in the morning. Somewhat elevated cortisol = good. No response = bad. Sometimes hydrocortizone was supplemented. Some guys may know this bb/trainer Matt Porter. He got off steroids for 9 months and his cort was so low his doc wanted to put him on cortisone.

That is really interesting, Van B. You've caused me to begin looking at it in a completely different way.

All I know is this....
-He sqwacks and whines about Blechman and how his board is shit etc, and acts like a fucking 3 year old with that stupid puppet, yet lets that anorexic skinny schmoe C.unt James ban people for having an opinion
-they got canned from MD in what 2008? For fucksake you would think that they were treated like slaves in the 1850's or something. Hell both guys have shady pasts and ended up with years of getting some pretty decent payout, better than most ex cons who can't get above a wage washing dishes. Get over yourselves
-they slag Blechy for owing people money yet Dave sold fake HGH to people according to many on the boards.
Their only good show is Live with..., that has great potential...but here is the thing, Levrone is not the first person in any media heavy industry who get scooped by another outlet at the 11th hour. Instead of bitching why not counter the offer
Their old boss is a shady prick, yes, but so are they. Funny how when they were getting paid well by the guy they sucked his ass for years

Shoe polish? ???

Shoe polish? ???
Spray-on hair coupled with a "hairline" framed with eyeliner?
Looks ridiculous.
-
What's even more ridiculous these days is his hair

Not as much shoe polish in this pic. Thankfully he's only needed to have that knee re-operated on five times.

Usnic Acid
To all of you who are sold on Usnic Acid, I want to share a little about my story as kind of a "wake up call":
I began taking Usnic Acid in October 2002 and I am thankful to be typing this letter today........
Took 250 mgs twice a day for two weeks, stopped for two weeks and then was on my third day of the second cycle when my health began to fail. On October 26, I was taken off work by my PCP stating I had hepititis like symptoms and needed rest. By November 5, after seeing a Gasterointerologist specialist I was admitted to a local Memorial Hospital. I remember that day only, by November 7, I was in ICU and had lapsed into a coma. I was in complete liver failure and they had estimated that my liver was functioning at 2%. They could not tell my family how much longer I had but I was placed as #1 on the liver transplant list and the doctor's had put me on life support with a monitor in my brain monitoring my brain activity.
The doctor told my family that he could not tell them how long I had until they opened me up but could not open me up until they had a donor organ. On November 12, at 1:00 p.m., I went in for a liver transplant. My donor was an 8-year-old little boy who saved my life. After the surgery, the doctors came out to talk with my family and told them I had less than 24 hours left.
The doctors at UCLA Medical Center have confirmed that Usnic Acid was the complete reason I went into liver failure. They cannot tell why it happened to me nor can they tell anyone else if it will happen to them. I am working very hard to get this stuff outlawed because if it saves one more life, it will be worth it. I suggest all of you who are having such a great time with this, go to your primary care physician and just ask them to do a screening of your liver...........better to be safe than sorry!
