Title: Does it make anyone else sad that people still buy supplements?
Post by: NickEdge779 on June 13, 2016, 06:21:51 PM
I used to work at GNC and used to see people come in all the time and spend over $300 on fart powders. Old ladies spending their husbands money on these stupid women's vitamins and juice packs. I just cried inside. I see these guys who are like 35 yrs old skinny fat, obese, etc, carrying these huge jugs of whey protein, pre workout, pretty much everything you can buy to the gym in their gym bags, sipping it religiously between every set. It's hilarious how these idiots think they are going to get results with this stuff. They never get any results and keep buying this stuff year after year. A vial of test is $35 and a jug of protein powder is $60. A 20 serving pre workout is $40. A sad state of delusion.

Bunch of warriors at the fancy gym I goto hate hate hate on me cause 'I'm on roids' according to the geniuses that work at fckn Lowes hardware

But they haul in all these blackstone labs SARMs "test boosters" "gh stimulator" bullshit

Backs all breaking out and you're 29, pale skin, full of hate

They leave the price tags on that shit too - $89/bottle - gh kits are less than that

I gotta admit when i through in a few fart powder shakes a wk i def am fuller, there is no question, this is coming from years of being off and on the fart powder, I just am sick of drinking them.

but yes its funny how people gotta go get the clothing/the gym bag/ the muscle tech b.s hit the gym for two wks then ask me to get them gear then i tell them what that lifestyle is like and then all the sudden the gym is now the last thing on that persons mind, until next year which entails the same routine

I haven't stepped into a GNC in well over 15 years.

I purchased one item from GNC back in 2001 and one item alone. That item was this:

Now, the only supplement I use is a multivitamin (below), which I've been working with for about 6 months.

I can't say this product is amazing or anything along those lines, but I take it nonetheless. Only thing is that you'll piss neon green due to them overloading each pill with vitamins/nutrients that end up getting flushed out. If any of you have better multivitamin suggestions, please let me know. I don't mind switching shit up a bit.

Pretty sure you'll be in line soon for some Whey, now that your go to place for protein in Orlando closed.

I like a scoop of protein powder with my oatmeal. Tastes great.

Ephedrine and caffeine works. Which reminds me. I may start taking ephedrine again soon.

That's it.

L-Arginine - I really like it.
Although I'm curious what, if any, quality criteria(next to purity) are there and what "brand" is best?

I stopped using protein powder a while ago
Haven't missed it at all
No loss of strength
Fuck it I'm not paying 50 bucks for a jug

Love pre workouts though

It's sad.

I have used bcaas, whey and everythign else. But I didn't see ANY DIFFERENCE in performance when I used supplements/balanced diet versus NO SUPLEMENTS/balanced diet.

The only supps that did show an increase in performance were pre workouts that had cocaine, LSD, MDMA, and amphetamines. Not even creatine gave me shit.

Real food works, fake nutrient replacements/food supporters do NOT work. Your body won't even recognize suplements as nutrition and you will just piss and shit it away, also increase risk of getting cancer.

Drugs work tho. Steroids, cocaine, amphetamine... real shit works... like food.
