I had the misfortune of listening to part of Obama's speech and King is right: Obama showed more anger towards Trump than the terrorist.

And in many ways, King continued, Obama is in denial as his policies continue to fail. He admitted he does not always agree with Trump, but he does wish that Obama "showed some of that anger toward ISIS rather than at Donald Trump.
There will always be random terrorism attacks, King said, but ISIS makes the matter different, "it's an army, a movement against us," and that's a point Obama does not want to grasp, Further, many Americans made that same mistake before the 9/11 attacks.
"They have diverse units," said King. "It is an international movement coming against us."
Meanwhile, King said that he does not think more Homeland Security funding would have helped in Orlando, as they are not generally effective against lone wolf attacks, but he does believe the FBI needs more funding and to make more use of local police departments' capabilities.

Exactly how he should have responded to Trump (if he was going to respond at all). But we know the president doesn't get too bothered by Americans getting slaughtered. Went to a fundraiser on the night our people were murdered by terrorists in Benghazi. Played a round of golf after one of our American citizens was beheaded by terrorists.
But criticize him for not properly naming our enemy and he's all fired up. ::)

I read the link. Did you? It says murder and suicide were already declining before they banned guns in Australia and they could not make a direct link between a decline in gun murders and the ban.

As I researched it more, you are right about the murder/suicide rates already trending downward in Australia even before the gun buyback...also I referred to it as a gun ban and you were right to call it a buyback, NOT a ban...
