Anybody know a good workout belt you can wear under a shirt?
My back has been hurting a little (L3 is starting to get fucked) and I don't want to look like a douche and wear a weight lifting belt my whole time at the gym.

I know a guy.... :D

This is the belt that I use when I need one (which seems to be depressingly often) and it's pretty comfortable under a shirt. Really good support too...

Yes, I was going to recommend the Schiek nylon models too. Very thin, very comfortable(especially when broken in). Low profile buckle arrangement too.

No way that is fitting under a shirt. I'll look into it though, I might just have to be the new gym weirdo, and wear that shit my whole workout. :'(

I found that if I take enough Tylenol I dont need to wear a belt or wraps.
You're good to go bro.

The only thinner support I know is the Rehband type supports that are popular in Olympic lifting and Strongman -
High end version 7732 version -

Cheaper version -

Rogue ( http://www.roguefitness.com/nutrition-more/brands/rehband/ ) and Jackal's Gym ( http://www.jackalsgym.com/store.aspx?prod_id=RH-SM-BELT ) sell a lot of the Rehband stuff in the States.
The wrap without belt versions don't offer a bunch of support, but do offer a little, and they keep the muscles warmed up. Also on days when you're really hurting, you can rub a liniment on your back, then use the wrap to trap and intensify the heat, which is very nice.

I take Advil also helps with the inflammation. The doctor gave me Tramadol. I refuse to take it becuase it plugs me up and I can't shit to save my life on it. :-X
Advil works almost as good as the Tramadol for me anyway.

I'm thinking you may prefer something in a nice sweat stained leather.

You'd be surprised. I wore it under a t-shirt and it was basically invisible. Of course, hiding it won't work if you've got a huge gut, so YMMV.

I never hide my belt. I wear it like a piece of armor since I'm going into battle after all.
