I do not. It is an entire mystery to me whatever happened to the ones I had. I don't squat much now and can't even bring myself to buy another one. It's like crossing a rubicon or breaking a seal.
-
Several actually. All professionally embroidered with "NO FEAR."
-
Same one I've had for years.
-
YES. USE it for bent over rows, shrugs, and deadliest. does it help, not sure, but i have been using a belt for years.
-
Im about to buy one. My L3 is starting to flatten out. :(
-
it helps with squats. maybe on deadlifts. Not a lot of use on anything else.
-
Sure. Great for curls in the squat cage. And walking through the mall with it over your shoulder. Chicks love 'em.

Yes, but I haven't used that 'crutch' in years. It weakens your back.
-
Only for squats.
-
used one maybe five times in my life
no idea what they're supposed to make me feel... never felt like they helped anything, even 1%
-
Tried a few times, wasn't feeling comfortable with it, so no.
-
Weight belt.... What's that?

Which is understandable since you don't need a weight belt at home ;D

Don't use one for anything - deadlifts, squats...nada.
-
Some days I feel like I need a weight belt to get out of bed. FML.
-
Never used one. Never felt it was needed even when doing heavy compound lifts.
-
Never used a belt. I have some T6-T7 issues so it wouldn't really help anyway. Back only disagrees with doing standing bicep curls with barbell/cables.
-
I use mine all the time.
-
Of course. If you're a serious strength trainer, they're extremely useful.
Having said this, I do feel the use of a belt can be overdone. I generally won't use my belt on squats until I've warmed-up beyond, say, 455 or 495, for instance.
All dead warm-ups without. Etc.
Like anything, one must train in the proper way in which to use a lifting belt. For a novice to just strap one on yields little if any benefit.
As always, many ignorant and beginner-types spouting off here on Getbig.
