Title: Some good fitspo
Post by: Al Doggity on June 30, 2016, 09:41:28 AM
I saw this pic posted online a few days ago. This is physique competitor Jeremy Potvin's 3 year transformation. The pic on the right is impressive, but the thing that I find so amazing is that he says there is less than a 10 lb difference in the two pics. (Granted, he's pretty short, but he says 143 in the first pic and 152 in the second pic.  :o ) I know he's on a shitload of drugs, but I think it's amazing that someone can make such a transformation to their body without drastically adding size. Especially considering he was in pretty great shape to begin with.

That looks like 10lbs on just arms and shoulders. I'd hate to think what his legs were like before if they're any bigger in the after.

Upper body looks great though.

Little to no difference. Hell these pics could have been taken 24 hours apart. Drop some water and put on a tan.

Yeah, not seeing a whole lot to get that excited about. Looks pretty similar in both. Hardly a "transformation" in the traditional sense.

How tall is he?

Pretty short. I think about 5'6"  I'm not sure.

As for there not being any difference, if pic 1 and pic 2 entered the same physique contest and you were a judge, you would honestly think it was pretty close and could go either way?

There are several top bodybuilding competitors who are that height. Besides he's a physique competitor. His goal isn't to be massive. I posted this because it was a great example of transforming your physique without adding a lot of mass.

otherwise known as - flexing your muscles.

watch, as this soft and small arm transforms into a bulging mass of steel-like muscle before your very eyes….. amazing.

So, like I asked someone earlier, if you were judging a physique contest and pic 1 and pic 2 entered, in your mind, you would think it was close between those 2 and could go either way?
