We can be proud of choosing the side of Stong in the Strong v. Weak battle that has been raging since time immemorial. Strong in body and in mental outlook. Strong in diet, if that is what we choose, or strong in athletics or size or raw power. Choosing to be disciplined and determined. Strong in being able to make choices and follow through and fight towards whatever goals we choose. Life's hard and will cut you the fuck down soon enough. Choose to choose what your life is gonna be and be sure that choice is not for weakness or being a victim, but for strong.

Anyone can cut down an oak tree given an axe and enough time.

Actually, there is an Iwo Jima, and Marines did erect a flag there in February of 1945 after their victory there.

What is the lie?

IIRC, the video and the subsequent photos were a reinactment. It achieved its purpose at the time.
