Title: Ronnie Coleman's Trophy Case
Post by: 6 Reps on July 07, 2016, 06:43:07 AM
Sorry Getbiggers, I can't seem to post videos from my phone.  So here is just a link to a cool video of Coleman and all his trophies:

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=n-w0-UhdzUU (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=n-w0-UhdzUU)

Note to all those who claim bodybuilding is dead:  This video has had over 46,000 views.  If bodybuilding was so dead, why are there this many people watching this?  If bodybuilding were "dead," a video like this would have maybe 460 views.

That's what it all boils down to when you get old and injured, to reminisce over all the trophies.

That's nothing...my buddy has twice as many trophies.  Mainly from little league and high school swimming, but...the trophies are huge!  Every time I go over I ask to see them.  It's always sweet seeing them shine under the lighting.

Trophies are great...if they are actually Mr. O titles, Super Bowl rings...you know, real shit.  Nothing worse than seeing someone's bowling or softball trophy for Kenfield League Juniors MVP.  I've always thought trophies were odd...unless you're in high school or a child.  And today, where everyone is a winner...the trophy business is probably booming.

Nobel prize...those also count and are impressive.

I'm going to go out on a limb here-
But, seeing photos of Ronnie Coleman and how he used to look (in other threads) is similar to a regular, middle aged man saying he was in great shape and looked great when he was in high school/college. Most everyone has these photos and memories of when they used to look great(not to the level of Coleman, of course)
That being said, I can walk through any mall today, ( let alone any gym) and find 100 people that are the same age as Ronnie, but are bigger, stronger, look better and are more healthy.
He looks like a fucking train wreck, like he never lifted a weight or took a steroid in his life...
What a waste-

I think if he was doing what he loved and he's now happy with where he's at is all that matters.
