Title: discrimination vs freedom of choice
Post by: Marty Champions on July 07, 2016, 02:30:08 PM
these two words directly oppose each other and are used as leverage

wich is more important you cant have both

you cant pick and choose who you want to do buisness with against someone whos good at pulling the discrimination card

society is already knee deep in this trend
you cant discriminate for any reason in many states who you can rent to. do u reall want to do buisness with low lifes tearing up your shit

immagrants and minorities are shouting loud any thing thats discriminatory
government is penning in new laws that further this

if i owned a store i would rather not allow low lifes in bringing dey kids in fuckin up my store, wouldnt you prefer freedom over discrimination?

Not exactly.

Discrimination laws about.

You can refuse service for certain reasons, but you can't use any reason related to race, creed, country of origin, sexual preference and some others.

That's for sure.

Just hint that you don't sell something to someone based on some "protected" thing and they will sue your ass just as sure as there are little green apples.

I remember in my early 20s we would go to nightclubs and "certain folks" would cause trouble and be violent so the clubs would enact a stricter dress code that the weeds out the attire of the troublemakers.

There are places that still do that.

Things like "No Timberlands". Collared shirts required. Stuff like that.

Yes I remember the biggest rules were no hats, no jerseys, collared shirts required. And upping the cover charge a few bucks could also keep out some of the riff raff.

It does. It is why Disney raised all of their prices this year.
