They need to shut this down, as well as shut down the tradition of hanging Spanish Galgos from trees after the hunting season is done.

They don't need to shut it down, just make it more equitable. Thirty years and tens of thousands dead bulls versus one dead matador is just unfair. New rule: matador gets a plastic spoon only, loser gets executed and eaten. Let the games begin.

There is far more people involved in the "event" than just the matador. You also have the picadors as well. They are more towards the beginning.
