Don't be surprised if it happens. This will be the year of the old bodybuilder. Kevin Levrone will place 6th, Dexter Jackson will place 1st.
My predictions:
1 - Dexter Jackson
2 - Phil Heath
3 - Shawn Rhoden
4 - Big Ramy
5 - Cedric McMillan
6 - Kevin Levrone
-
Spot on
-
This is the year Rhoden places ahead of Dexter.
-
I mean he's never beaten him before so why now?
Phil called his mother today and told her he won his 6th Olympia. And etc......
Nice prediction but it won't happen.

Phil has been on a downward slide ever since 2011. If he slides again, which is likely as shown by 2012-2015, Dexter has just enough edge to win.

So you are saying he was better in 2014 than last year?
-
So you are saying he was better in 2014 than last year?
No, but aside from that, it's been shitty ever since 2011. He looked better in 2009 and 2010 than he does now.
-
He looked better than all of that in 2005
-
This is the year Rhoden places ahead of Dexter.
I hope Rhoden gets pulled over in baton rouge.
-
Dexter beat Phil last year :-X

Phil is the most uneventful Mr. O EVER.
I had no idea he has won 5 titles until I read it the other day. Mind blown.
Zero f's given.

I put him in the same league as Jay Cutler, Franco Columbo and Chris Dickerson, along with Dorian in 1996 and 1997 as the worst bodybuilders to ever win the Sandow. Sadly, the only reason Phil has continued to win is because he virtually has no competition in the field today.
-
It seems to always come down to the back! Let's say Dexter ties him on most every pose? Unless Phil is off from the front, Phil wins, due to his Back. I'm a big Dex fan too, but unless Phil's back has regressed? (highly unlikely) Phil wins again! Just like all of Dorians wins. He may have lost his front double biceps pose to Nasser in 97 I believe. But he crushed him on back and won every other pose. Like it or not.
As to placings 2-6? Hell, with the lineup as week as it is these days. One can only guess. Smart move for Levrone to come out of retirement now, with the weekest Olympia lineup ever! I mean how bad can he do? ??? Will he beat Branch? Lol... Bigger question I think is will Levrone even compete? I doubted it at first, but with Kai out and the rest of the field being subpar with the exception of Rhoden and Dex, it might be possible for Kev to place top 6. I have yet to see Kevs back or legs though. :-\

I agree with this for the most part, with maybe the exception of Dorian.
-
Victor is gonna be up there this year.
-
6th is usually given to a big name that deserves 9th ;)
-
Fuck these yearly predictions, we only have a clue about their overall structures and politics, not their conditioning on judgment day.

How?
Besides being narrow he doesn't have any weak body parts, a complete bber, don't understand your logic?
The 90's guys and early 2000's competitions were much better of course
-
Victor is gonna be up there this year.
I am not so sure. Let us see how dry he looks.

What's with all these dudes traveling to the middle east to train? Must be some quality legal gear over there.

Yates deserved 96 - went to that show.
-
As always here's what will happen....half the lineup will be ahead of Phil in the Prejudging, Rambod will pull something out of his bag of tricks and Phill will miraculously win the next night...
I have Levrone top 10, out of top 6

Hate so say it, but Kevin will never made the top 6 again, the expectations are way too high

Right now in Kuwait he is looking as good as he has looked since 2007. He is competing in Baltimore in 2 weeks. Should be an easy win.
-

Dex has the maturity, Phil the bloofyness, so yes, Dex is years ahead
-
Phil doesn't need more size he needs more condition.

And new clavicles and a smaller head

Knobhead of peace

Phil is structurally poorer than Dexter, but he carries more muscle. Both seem on par conditioning wise, however, Phil lacks the symmetry of the Blade. Maybe his online persona will carry some weight amongst the "judges"?
Wiggs might be right, Roden is likely to slip into second behind a slowly Polumbofying but more muscular Heath.
-
Dexter is the most overrated top pro ever. Has weak legs yet still wins shows. No calves. No tricep definition. I cant see this crazy conditioning that everyone says. Levrone will smoke him if he comes in condition
-
I was referring to things he can control.
Regarding his monster head, I'm more than happy to pull it from his tiny frame.
-
oh come on guys. This year:
1. Phil
2. Ramy
3. Rhoden
4. Dex
...
16. Levrone, if he competes.
You can quote me after O.

Levrone will get a gift if he competes, regardless. I think he end up somewhere in the middle of the pack but get placed 6th-8th tbh as a gift.

Phil at last year Mr O
