Recruitment offices aren't closed.
Don't be like everyone else who thinks stupid shit until realizing how military service, war, and getting shot at would upset their comfy life.
Get out there and fuck shit up!!

You're going to get a lot of shit from this post, but it has a thread of pathetic truth.
When I was 19, I joined the USMC and was looking for a bigger purpose to live for.
All I had known was my home state of NH , school, playing sports, girls and lifting wts.
While I'm proud of having served as an active duty marine, it was far from the purpose filled life I imagined.
It was long days, engaged in tedious duties adhering to mind numbing regulations.
Now, I rarely get bored with "life" and feel grateful to enjoy life in relative comfort and peace.

I have been told that an almost 100% predictor of how well someone does in the USMC is how well they did in high school...One wag who had just separated said, "The Marines is de facto the 13TH grade."

Only Boring People Get Bored. People Who Lack Intelligence Get Bored.

You want war? you will see war front and center on Sept 16, 2016
When Kevin Levrone goes to war with Phil Heath

Grades in school have very little do with making it thru boot camp on Paris Island.
It's unlike any experience one can have in school, trust me. ;)

Finally a true get big war analogy!
2016 Levrone vs Heath : Polish Calvary vs German tanks circa 1940

Yes ,I have thought about this many times. The oppression is great at the moment on what you can do and what you can think. Rules rules rules ,phaggotry phaggotry phaggotry and pretty much boredom is all what is offered to a man these days. So war would be a good way to escape from all of this and change things. But it could be a double edged sword as we have become much too mellow probably for the harsh conditions of war times.

problem is. I need mu contac lenses, cant see without them. Oöö gett fucked :D
Second problem, I need my medication for my colon. Without them I shit my pants!
I guess boring life will be the best solution!

watching too much of that purge shit.
You seem to want to "war" at the expense of others with your description of it along with your being bored.
How about you "war" in the ring or cage somewhere where you are at expense, and I can assure you you will feel alive and you won't be bored and as you said you can "think and use your creative mind to stay alive!"
People think i'm crazy when I tell them I haven't gotten my ass kicked in awhile (no sparring in years now), and there is nothing like getting punched/kicked in the head to wake your ass up and force you to get your shit right.
Just my violent .02 cents

I've seen and heard a variety of people motivated to have some form of "revolution".
ISIS would be the most extreme , modern example of this.
A few years ago, a disgruntled, bitter, older white dude used to train in the same gym.
He was divorced and paying child support as his mechanic business stalled.
He was big on all kinds of conspiracy theories and felt US citizens needed to "revolt".
He was surprised and annoyed at my reply and view of citizen revolution.
I told him, was happy with my career and overall lifestyle.
Thus, I had no desire to engage in revolt and have a drastic change .

Did you go to war howie?

Did you go to war howie?
Nope. Closest call was in fall of '83 during the incident at Grenada.
My unit along with several others were ordered to assemble at the MCAS Beaufort SC.
We stood out there for a long time and then we were told to go home.
Later we were told the situation was not a full crisis and to carry on as normal.
I heard credible stories from recon that the USSR had tried to place ballistic missiles on the island of Granada.
They used Cuban nationals to hide USSR's purpose.
The recon marines who went there felt the famous med school hostage thing was a means for the USSR to buy time to remove the missiles.
I respect and admire those who served in combat but feel blessed I didn't have to.

I can relate to that and used to be into boxing and MMA long before the octagon.
No, I wasn't any awesome fighter, but I was active in a boxing and Tai Kwon Do Club.
I spared a lot with buds and we actually hit each other .
In high school I had a rag tag sparring area laid out with duct tape and towels .
I ordered safety kick pads for the feet and we wore boxing gloves on the hands.
I remember getting kicked right in the face by my buddy Mark once.
We both paused and I shook it off saying ; " Woah, that was awesome."

Who said anything about Grades?...He was talking about the total high school experience...How you relate to your classmates...Whether or not you get scapegoated... If your total high school experience was good for you...you will do well inside.
