As a getbigger, along with most of you, I have had my fair share of one night rendezvous with fitness girls.
But how many have tried to date them? How was it? Quarks or funny stories?

Don't do it. My cousin was married to a female NPC competitor. For the duration of their marriage, she was not into fitness. After a few years, she became heavily into fitness and started to compete. She became more and more involved in the fitness world and began to compete in the NPC. As time progressed, she began to spend more days training and began to hang out with other fitness competitors and bodybuilders. She then met a bodybuilder and divorced her husband. That was about 3-4 years ago.

I was involved in competing , then judging for many years .
My impression was the majority of fitness and bikini babes were not relationship material.

Only ever dated one chick who was really into fitness. She never competed but was gym obsessed (crossfit and yoga).
She would be sweet at times but was also very self absorbed and would always randomly brag about how fit she was to people she had just met and barely knew. :-\
She also took dozens of selfies a day and used Instagram religiously.
Worryingly, I've noticed that there is a growing trend of girls who are like this.

Thank you, rusty. Sadly I peaked in the bodybuilding doldrums. Just after the 90s zubaz era, Gnc was selling poison with side effects of muscle growth, and all the girls were skinnyfats. Early 2000s. When benching 275 gathered a crowd...
Now I see all kinds of girls squatting and deadlifting....

Would never date a girl who takes lifting weights seriously, even while I take it seriously. Look into any woman's eyes that is into crossfit or actually takes the lifting lifestyle seriously, and you will see crazy. It's just a universal truth, regardless of how good their physique is. A woman who is that passionate about a masculine hobby is mentally insane.

Only once but she was off the drugs... the disappointment of a lifetime. Nonetheless a very likeable person. The really self absorbed chicks that I came across were never into training but more into injecting Botox, Louis Vitton, Apple and all the other shit...
may they take a hot bath in a volcano :)

I've dated a tri athlete/figure competitor, she was great, very sexual women, her life wasn't consumed with competing it wasn't constantly on her mind, she loved to train, being in shape, eat healthy, just a lifestyle...but like I said it was a healthy hobby, she didn't have body image issues or any type of mental issues, just a great person overall. I had a lot of good times with her, I couldn't hang with her fitness wise, we would go running and her jog was my sprint lol, swimming as well I couldn't hang, but it was cool to date someone where training was an actual date, instead of having previous girlfriends busting my balls about always going to the gym or having to rush my workouts so we could hang out. But I've had short hook ups with some bikini and figure chicks who where no doubt hot, but definitely not relationship material, lots of deep seeded issues, constant IG and Facebook posts, 99% of the pics either selfies or fitness or diet related, no normal photos in regular social settings. These things are definitely red flags..run and run fast broskis!

I remember in the mid 90s Nicole bass had her home phone number on her website. I called it, she talked to me for 15 minutes talking about the nationals, Olympia, and her crazy wraaastlin. She was very friendly. Not my kind of girl, but that is not something you'd see today.

I'd like to ADD to this... the girls with muscles at the YMCA I train at ALL seem to not be concerned with washing their workout clothes either at all, or for months at a time... you go to use a machine, or bench after them and it freekin' stinks!
I'm not kidding, and I don't have a sensitive nose either it's been noted by other guys at the gym.

I wouldn't recommend it.
Lots of body image issues, low self esteem, and I know of quite a few who dump their husbands/boyfriends to get with their trainers. The trainers know these women have low self esteem and issues so they prey on them.
