Title: Do I need LIFE coaching?
Post by: Howard on July 22, 2016, 12:11:45 PM
Being an unashamed attention whore and knowing nobody cares, I felt it critical that I start this thread.

So what's your opinion of me ( Howard ) and could you please provide some details and rational for it.

Since nobody asked, I'll be happy to start.

I'm an older,  harmless , corny meathead that last had abs when Clinton was in office ( 1st term).
I've been married/divorced /remarried a few times and hope this one lasts until I croak.

I'm bored with life and even  bodybuilding fails to excite me now.
Imagine what a sad pc of poop you'll feel like if you're posting on getbig at my age.

Life sucks and then you die.

You have your own house, a wife, retired, etc. Life isn't that bad. You aren't ill (presumably), not in jail, and not in debt (assuming). There are a lot of people who can't say that and are struggling with much less, and are miserable. But, I know what you mean. Whenever I am "bored", i.e. have too much time on my hands or money to burn, that is when I usually do something stupid like gamble too much or go partying too hard and end up regretting it. So that being said, it's not so bad.

you could always make another "comeback" and compete at your local shopping mall again

right?

that story just blew me away when you told it , who admits to competing at a shopping mall?

It was a real but Unsanctioned contest called the 1986 Mr Cannon Village .
It was held in the outdoor center stage area of the Cannon Village outlet mall,  Kannapolis, NC ( 30 min N of Charlotte) . Me and 2 other dudes competed along with 1 girl in the female div.

John Consider had just won the NPC- NC and was the one and only judge.
One thick but smooth blonde dude got drunk during the 2 hr break between judging and posing finals.
He passed out and slept it off somewhere LOL ( 100% serious on that).

The one guy left was pretty thick, and his most muscular was impressive.  So I did a lot of ab shots when we posed down. Plus, his posing sucked and he looked big and clumsy during his routine.
FYI, our posing music was on the outlet mall speakers. Shoppers were walking buy and most were like,  wtf are those meatheads doing there ??? :D

I got the win when the one judge thought I looked in better condition and handed up my name on a post it note .
The MC was some asst. manager of the outlet mall and announced me on a bull horn.

I got my trophy which was 18" tall and had 1986 Mr Cannon Village inscribed on it.
I also got a gift basket with several gift cards from the outlet stores in the mall.
Since it was early Saturday evening, I walked around and collected the prizes.

I was blown away at how impressed some of the store staff was about it.
I posed with a bunch of ladies and was asked to sign store flyers for them.
LOL, it was this half-assed contest that was the equivalent of winning Mr Howard's basement.
BUT, armed with that title , trophy and gift cards, I was a local celebrity.
Amazing how image and perception can change how women look at you. :P

I guess he could slide a therapists coach into that storage container he uses for a training center.  ;D

It's really quite simple.

Stop acting like a hobbyless woman and get some interests and follow them.

The phrase "I'm bored" is for women and when you're stuck doing something a woman asked you to do.

You've one of those "hopeless romantics"...The CIA loves those traits in their agents...You should spice up your life a bit by becoming an agent. Then ask them if you could transfer to Dubai, India and go deep undercover and get to the bottom of what's going on over there with the pros and their paying schmoes...

I would advise to travel, see different cultures. It will give you a sense of proportion of your own reality compared with the rest of the world. Might give you some enlightment about yourself , your life, and your journey in this earth.
Most likely your wife will love to travel also, and sex becames better, given her positive mood.

Ok, I took your advice and decided to go see a different culture and location.
So we drove across town to the Piggly Wiggly instead of going to the nearby Krogers.

My wife like the meat and produce sections better.
But she got pissed when I hinted she looked like the Piggy mascot.

I wish I could have the so called boring lives or meaningless material things some ppl whine about.
At one time I had it all...hot wife, outrageous job, beautiful home,Harley, small boat, fast cars...until I decided I too was "bored" and made the poorest decisions one could make and ruined my life.

I allowed drugs and so called partying to take center stage in my humdrum life losing all I worked hard for and even better...kept making the same idiotic decisions to try it over and over thinking each time will be better.
Now at 48,living in a fucking rehab cause I couldn't stop banging smack, just getting back to the gym after 4yrs off and 3yrs running the only thing I may have left is some lame ass comeback. Fuck the mall shows...I just wanna live a simple peaceful life, bigger than I was without the decision making of a half bred retard...
I'll trade places with you any day Howard lol...

Saw that too.  I've been hearing about this "Guru" since the 90s and was curious.  I couldn't believe what I was watching/hearing.  It was like watching a secular version of the Pentecostal church, with Scientology thrown in for kicks.

This guy, Tony, dedicates an entire day of his $5,000 per person seminar to "Relationships".  The guy is on his freaking 3rd marriage, and he's charging $5,000 for relationship advice?

Well, at least Tony and Howard have that in common, the multiple ex-wives.   :)
