Timely thread.
Today, in Central Park, NYC, they had the NYC Triathlon. After my run, I sat in the grass alongside the road and watched some of these "Athletes" go by. After awhile, I thought it was a joke, or some sort of Special Olympics version of a Triathlon. Nothing but fat pieces of shit with no muscle at all. The typical person jogging in the park was in much better shape.

That's why I always LOL when Coach speaks about 'athletes' when he refers to most powerlifters..

Funny, you mention that. There's a Crossfit gym near me, as well. I pass by it almost everyday. Nothing but fat fucks, especially the women.
Say what you want about bodybuilding, especially its current state, but, at least bodybuilders understand the importance of diet.

My grandmother used to sew clothes for Agnetha back when Agnetha was a young girl in Jönköping.
They were neighbours back in the day (1950s and 60s)

There is a strange phenomenon these days where some fatass who's never exercised a day in their life will suddenly decide they are going to do a marathon in three months, will "train" and jog/walk the race in 6-7 hours then go back to their regular disgusting lifestyle.
Maybe start with a 5k or something ???

Some people are just not cut out for athletics, but, because of the trend in fitness fashion, many feel compelled to participate. I just ran in a four mile charity race. After the first mile, there was a mass exodus of people leaving the course to get to the water station that was set up. Apparently, the ten minutes of running they had done caused them to become dehydrated.
I've run Half Marathons without drinking water during the race.
