Title: The Terminator takes on climate change...
Post by: Taffin on July 28, 2016, 11:48:13 AM
Every time I start a thread I'm braced for a Lincoln poster, but here goes...

Arnold Schwarzenegger takes on climate change in James Cameron's DNC video

"Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sigourney Weaver, and James Cameron were among the Hollywood celebrities delivering a warning about the dangers of climate change at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia on Wednesday.

Schwarzenegger, the Republican former governor of California and successor to Donald Trump as host of Celebrity Apprentice, appeared in a short film produced by Cameron to highlight the immediate and ongoing effects of global warming.

“Because of global warming, mountain snow now melts earlier each year,” Schwarzenegger says in Not Reality TV, over images of raging fires. “When that happens, the ground dries up earlier too.” He is then seen walking through a charred landscape in firefighting gear.

Weaver narrates the film, which also features Jack Black, America Ferrera, and Don Cheadle, and she introduced it at the convention. In her remarks, Weaver gave examples of people affected by global warming and called out Republican presidential nominee Trump for his denials of climate change."

Has Arnold endorsed Trump? I guess he can't stand living in someone else's shadow.

There is evidence that the number of fires is increasing at a similar rate of the snow caps melting earlier.

Just follow the money trail behind all the climate change rhetoric and it will all make sense.
Gore made how much on "his" findings.  100 million.
The ability to impose new taxes and site "environment conscious".  It's laughable.
Other countries emit more than us and do nothing on it.  The soccer mom separating her garbage and thinking, "I'm making a difference."  People will believe just about anything you repeat to them. There's always a monetary gain behind it.  If there weren't, politicians would care less.  It prays on fear...well done.

Just because there's money being made, and people are bullshitting like always to make it, doesn't mean climate change is fiction.  It's universally accepted among anyone who isn't a complete foil hatter.

Unless you have all of the following:

1. A degree in science.
2. Work with the environmental
3. Published studies on the environment

STFU on denying clinate change. Global warming deniers are just as bad as Evolution deniers.

You get your scientific information from comics.

I suppose all these scientists are not worth listening to.

Take your pick.

Where is the proof showing mankind is responsible for climate change? We certainly were not responsible the other million times the climate changed throughout Earth's history?  ???

You refer to the millions of scientists worldwide who believe in climate change (man made global warming) as presented by the IPCC.  The so called 97% consensus has been debunked over and over.  Perhaps instead of resorting to crude name calling, you might want to take a bit of time to research the matter and educate yourself.   You could start here:

https://wattsupwiththat.com/2012/07/18/about-that-overwhelming-98-number-of-scientists-consensus/

http://www.forbes.com/sites/larrybell/2012/07/17/that-scientific-global-warming-consensus-not/#29d63ab81690

Since 1998, more than 31,000 American scientists, have signed a public petition announcing their belief that “…there is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gases is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the Earth’s climate.”
