Ho-ly sh1t! Irrelevant to the thread I know, but I've travelled in Chinooks (a lifetime ago) and also see them almost weekly. To me they are stupidly big and loud, so I couldn't get my head round this pic of something bigger. Little did I know. So after a Google I found the vid where this happened and it blew me away! Thanks for posting dude...

These train/truck/helicopter/Walmart Shoppers pulls are so idiotic. The coefficient of friction is on the order or 0.006-0.010 for rubber tires- even less for harder wheels like those on a train. So to pull an eight tonne 17,600 pound) object you need 105-175 pounds of force.
The toughest part is keeping yourself from slipping as you pull - and that's why they put things like fixed ladders on the ground for the person to push against.

I have seen one at russian airport from distance and I got the "it's... huge" face like girls on BBC videos :-X
