CNN edits out Milwaukee victim’s sister calling for violence in ‘the suburbs’
By Bradford Richardson - The Washington Times
Both online and on television, CNN edited out Sherelle Smith, the sister of a black man who was killed by police in Milwaukee on Saturday, calling for rioters to take their violence “to the suburbs.”
Correspondent Ana Cabrera reported Ms. Smith was “calling for peace” in a televised segment Monday on CNN Newsroom, NewsBusters reported.
The network showed a brief clip of Ms. Smith telling protesters: “Don’t bring the violence here and the ignorance here.”
But CNN cut away before Ms. Smith called for rioters to “take that s– to the suburbs.”
“Stop burning down s– we need in our community,” Ms. Smithsaid in her extended remarks. “Take that s– to the

Just another case of the media editing the news the way they want it to be. :-\

CNN is a totally corrupt, liberal/left wing piece of feces....Spent a year ripping into cops and then acted puzzled when cops started getting shot...Now it's trying frantically to elect Hilary...The CEO is an admitted liberal named Jeff Zucker...It's employees do what Jeff say's...

I just wonder why they STILL do this in 2016 when they can be called out for their obvious deception so easily via the internet.
Seems like continuing down this path would be terrible for their brand.

A news station can be held liable if they broadcast a person inciting a riot ::)

There is alot they didn't publish.
They didn't publish the guy shot never had a felony, was a licensed CCW permit holder, they wouldn't show the body to the family at the morgue (just a photo), was held for months on a flimsy charge in local jail but was recently released when the charges didn't stick, he never stole a car (it was his car; it was released to his family a couple days ago), and most important, he has been constantly harassed by the local police ever since he won a lawsuit against them. There was another guy running with him who was not shot, FYI, and the cop who shot him also knew him since he was a kid.
The whole thing is suspect.

CNN can not be trusted to tell the truth. They are not journalists, they are liberal political activists.

This is entirely not true.
This was a convicted felon in possession of an illegal gun, fleeing the police, and possibly turning and shooting at the cop.
Just stop with the bullshit about "he a good boy".
His grandfather's description of him and acceptance of his crimes was disgusting

Did they publish the fact that the majority of the rioters were from outside Milwaukee? Did "they" publish any of this? Get your head out of your ass.
Smith had been in trouble with the law dating back at least to 2011, according to arrest records released by the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office late Sunday. He was arrested or ticketed nine times in that period — for the shooting, a robbery, carrying a concealed weapon, theft, possession of heroin and more. His most recent arrest was July 22 for possession of cocaine, records show.
Last year, Smith was charged with first-degree recklessly endangering safety and with witness intimidation, but the charges were dismissed, court records show.
The charges were dropped even though the prosecutors had recorded jail calls in which Smith asked his girlfriend to pressure the victim to recant, according to court records.
In the witness intimidation case, Smith was accused of pressuring the victim in a shooting to recant a statement identifying him as the suspect, according to the criminal complaint.
That case was dismissed at the preliminary hearing because the alleged victim reversed himself and he was, in fact, not intimidated by Smith, contrary to the allegations in the complaint, Chief Deputy District Attorney Kent Lovern said Sunday in an email.

Perhaps I stand corrected, but to me, it sounds like you are cherry picking stories to fit your narrative. Where were you with the guy in Florida laying on the ground who got shot three times in the leg for no reason?
Either way, I don't trust the police. I don't believe them until I see proof, especially when it involves a minority. I know better.

Perhaps you stand corrected??? Get the fuck out of here. You're the lowest form of life tossing out lies and proclaiming them as facts and then changing the subject when proven wrong. Is that you, Coach?

These old school media outlets still haven't accepted that we live in a different world where they don't have the market cornered. Eventually they'll go the way of the dinosaur and won't be missed. Same goes for Hollywood.
