This is a video of my 78 years old training partner Ernest Deadlifting 60kg up to 200kg and back down to 60kg increasing 20kg each rep in the gym today.

But then at 78 he's still going strong.

Wonder why they put added the weights in the upright position and risk injuring his back when there was a larger plate so they could have slipped them on when on the floor

He is 80 years old now and still going strong getting ready to compete in the Masters World Athletic Championships in Spain in September where he will be competing in the Shot Putt, Discus, Hammer and The Weight Throw.
