I doubt this. It is just bodybuilding, which is often considered a narcissistic pursuit. When the focus is on our physical selves, some people will seek appreciation and reassurance indiscriminately. Many women are not impressed with a guy's muscularity, especially when it involves a lot of primping. We're humans, not peacocks. If we were, fanning our feathers would impress the ladies. Also, for most folks professional bodybuilding is not all that lucrative. In order for the average person to maintain the expense pro-bodybuilding entails, they may resort to prostituting themselves one way or another. Many proclaim they are straight regardless of what they are willing to do for money. I'm not at all sure this makes sense. Some people have delusions.
Having said the above, I do believe bodybuilding attracts a lot of interest from gay men. I'm not sure gay women could give a shit.
There is probably more homosexual behavior going on in contact sports than most folks realize. Locker room shenanigans are not uncommon with athletes. Hazing sometimes includes homosexual behavior, which is thinly disguised as guy's just being guys.

Looking over this tread and seeing that many of you access gay related material (mostly photos), one cannot help but wonder if you realize that most straight men wouldn't look for or know where to find this type of material. But hey, whatever floats your boat.

It is hard for me to tell if you are joking or not. If you believe some UFC fighters are gay, then you've likely got it right. However, if you are suggesting that extreme contact sports don't have gay contestants, you got that wrong.

If you followed my posts as closely as you say you do, you'd know that your comment isn't accurate. Furthermore, pay attention to the fact that I'm not the OP of these homosexual threads. If you want to question someone, ask the OP's why they have a preference for the topic of homosexuality.
Now to answer your question, I am bisexual, have been for all of my adult life and probably then some. Why wouldn't I have opinions about homosexuality. Opinions which are based not only on my personal experience but also those of friends and family, both gay and straight. I'm not in the closet. Many of you probably are. My perspective is honest. For those of you in denial, your perspective is most likely skewed.

Back in your day and even more so in mine, Gay folks weren't out. The only obvious gay people were "nelly queens" and "bull dikes". The percentage of homosexual folks to heterosexual folks likely has not changed much over time. Heck, even Tab Hunter and Rock Hudson pretended to be heterosexual and most folks believed them. Liberace's sexual preference, on the other hand, was not much of a secret (nelly queen).

After like 20 years of commercial internet there must be hundredths of these threads and all of them going nowhere.
Not all guys like bodybuilders either because they find them repuslive, especially if they are too big or too vascular or because they are perceived as narcissistic. But certainly, muscularity is much more appreciated among gay and bisexual men.
There is also criticism of the so-called G4P thing.
