My present cat had one of his hind legs amputated because it was crashed by a car (we think).
Him and me can relate to each other much better now, considering my present quad tear.
He got no psychological problems about his missing leg though, keeps on catching mice to leave them under the kitchen table, like in the old 4-legged days..

I had one too...she was a siamese purebred rescue...That is I found her as a kitten, and as the cat grew, it grew into a cat that if we had papers on her would be an upper class show winner...
This cat would crap in the toilet from the seat...The animal learned it "Clever Hans" style.
