Remember when Anthony Weiner went on every news channel, for 12 hours straight, explaining to every news host that his Twitter was hacked, and that in the middle of his convo to a chick in seattle, while posting things about seattle, someone magically hacked his account and put in pics that may or may not have been his junk, likely hacked from his own computer?
Over and over, he told the same obvious lie, even as more and more details came in about his convo and the lie started falling apart.
This is kinda what the news feels like today. All these surrogates laughing, saying "Look, she wasn't unconscious, she was just a little tired. In the car, she was drinking water and laughing about the whole thing". Feels like that.
