For 6'3'' this guy must have dwarfed his competitors. He actually had some potential.
-
his testis must have been the size of raisins
-
OOps mean to post this second
-
He looked incredible as the Dingo Warrior. Used to really work over smaller guys.
-
Jim was at his most massive during his old Mid-South days.
-

Dude was NOWHERE near 6'3". That was his KAYFABE billing. He was more in the 5'11". He wore platform boots with huge insoles to face Hulk Hogan who at the time was a legit 6'5"/6'6" guy (Hogan's only about 6'2"/6'3" today after serious height loss).
Here he is next to legit 6'2" Kerry Von Erich.
-
Despite going on to be two of the biggest stars in the sport, neither he nor Sting had much wrestling skills at all.

And Kerry's height is confirmed where?
Regardless Hellwig was tall for a bber, and looked damn huge and thick for his height.

David Von Erich was right around 6'6 and looks to have a good 3 or 4 inches on Kerry here so you are probably right.

Warrior was absolutely massive. Met him in the very early '90s. I'm exactly six and he was at minimum an inch taller.
Zero wrestling skill but boatloads of strength, power and charisma.

The Von Erichs were so enormous in Texas back in the day, they got more pussy than most rock stars. When the Fabulous Freebirds came to town to feud with the Von Erichs it was utter mayhem. The youngest of the brothers, Chris, had poor health and had no business in the ring. He was only allowed to wrestle Percy Pringle in tag matches teaming with Chris Adams vs Pringle and Steve Austin. Ric Flair stated that Kerry was completely fucked up on drugs and only cared about pussy.

Pinched chest, no width and ZERO legs.
Give it a rest.
Warrior had twice the physique.

Paul Roma and Jim Powers probably had the best BBing potential out of all the wrestlers. (Next to Tony Atlas)

Kerry Von Erich was a 6'9" legit guy. Thats why Helwig only looks about 6'7" there.
6'12" Stone Cold Steve Austin , with colorful pants and long hair! :D
-
The good old days when Vince McMahon would supply steroids to all the wrestlers. Poor Hogan took the fall for him.
-
His Classic theme still gives me goosebumps. Grew up watching him and the other greats in the late 90s, back when cartoon Network had wrestling as evening shows and weren't such a bunch of beta cowards pressed through a PC filter.
He had his issues though, racism and rampant homophobia.

Neither did Hulk Hogan.
Bret Hart in his book mentions this too.
-
The problem with Warrior would always be his signature huge size. The dude gassed out just by performing his intro. He never had the condition nor the athletic abilities of his smaller opponents.

that theme was pretty much taken from the led zeppelin song communication breakdown, i am surprised they never had a lawsuit

Basically wild music intro fan frenzy crowd..face off in ring nose to nose with opponent, few headlocks, runnning 100 mph off ropes with clothelines, gorrilla slam press and done, avg match 1minute to 3 min ,,when he really had to work his frosted mullet and painted face would be a mess afterwards..

He must have been jacked on speed before each match. His BP was through the roof
